Thanks it is in good condition, not mint but not far from it, considering it is 37 years old now

I have a passion for old Hoover machines, I find them easy to work on and basically well designed

oops - i posted my other comments on your first video of this lovely machine so if you have'nt read them and do still need the orange keyplate , let me know and i'll see if i can contact a chap who's in the know . so many neighbours and family had this model when i was little in the 70's - makes me smile just watching your vids and remembering !!

sorry mate - i phoned the washing machine chap this morning and no luck - he said that he got rid of all his keymatic spares several years ago , thinking that there would be no further demand for them . i'll keep my eyes open meantime - you never know what might turn up out of the blue .

It spins at 720 rpm compared to my modern machine at 800 no difference in the moisture content, the one plus point is less creasing

Definately a machine for use in the summer

Lovely!  How well spun are the clothes compared to your regular washing machine at a similar speed?
