seriously, you're doing a disservice to the game. people new to this genre see you just mash random buttons incoherently and will see no value and no sense of depth in it.

you don't have to be "pro" to preview/review these games (and you can't, because the game is so new for everyone), but at least you should be decent in a general sense with fighting games.

Rushdown =/= button mashing in any way. Proper rushdown requires you to know how to tighten up your attack strings, and leave people less options of escape. This, much like proper zoning, requires you to know your move properties, and your opponents. The way you worded it made it sound like rushdown took much less skill than zoning, when in some games the opposite is sometimes true.

Too late now obviously, but consider pulling guests from the community to help with terminology in the future.

my only question on the sfxt is... if there is no way to turn gems off and there can only be one active profile at the time on offline play on PS3 and XBox, how are people gonna be able to run offline tournaments such as EVO with this game??

@ederondotcom from what I've heard (from what i believe to be a credible source) Capcom are due to be releasing a 'mode' to accommodate tournament play. I'd assume the only way to make that fair would be to turn off gems, so I'd imagine that's likely.
