@Invisus944 Wait until you listen to either 1951 Bavaria version or 1954 Lucerne version. I personally prefer 1951 version, but then I've seen quite a few others who liked 1954 version.
@brasidas7 The 1951 Bavaria is my favorite one as well. When I uploaded this recording though, there was no Bavarian tape recording of the Bayreuth concert and I think this is still a more "important" recording (it transcends individual taste better than the other ones I think).
Well I got it, and to tell you the truth, it doesn't sound much different. Maybe only smaller things were fixed, like pitch, but it's definitely from the same source as the rest of the transfers.
Thanks for the upload. Do you have the wonderful Lucerne Festival version with the Philharmonia Orchestra & Elizabeth Schwarzkopf? The first movement is the truly the greatest ever.
Call me a heretic if you will, but I think this is even better than the fourth movement. (Though not by too much.)

Anyone know why he went back to the beginning around 1:19?
Interesting version though a bit slow in tempo.

Absolutely fantastic, thanks for the upload Invisus944.
Without a doubt, greatest conductor ever.
What do you get when you mix the greatest composer and greatest conductor? - Simply Perfection.

My God, that is fantastic. Didn't think anyone could beat Karajan on the 9th until now. Thanks!
