Very crowded. My brother went and twice he worked his way to a good standing area, and twice someone near him fainted and he found only himself willing to carry the victims (one woman, one man) over to an area where paramedics attended to them. Lost his place both times. Meanwhile 911 lines were filled with calls because the fireworks sounded so much like gunfire and neighborhoods were not warned. It's like this every year so I didn't walk the block or so to watch it myself.
