Then using your definitions and propertys and ect. no you can not say <2=<3 in the second step because of blah blah blah b/c <3 is not in the <ABC your teacher will want you to prove that by comparision. <1=<2 by blah blah blah blah and that also means <2=<3. <3 being an unknown <. then you can take steps 2&3 & take out the <2 becuse it is repeting which then will leave you with the ending statement of <1=<3.did that help anyone? thumbs up!!
