is it just me or thrash sounds better on those cassette players than in cd?? i still remember my old sony walkman (yeah it was huge) but this bands had a better bass sound due to the cassette reproduction
check out these bands. overkill, testament, megadeth, slayer, forbidden, death angel, metal church, nuclear assault, pile driver, anthrax, sanctuary, mercyful fate, king diamond, savatage, exodus..... check out my channel's kick ass metal playlist it includesjust about every great real metal band of 80's when premium thrash metal was made.
Yep thats right they hail from boston and were formed by guitarist/ songwriter anthony nichols. they released their first studio album in 1988 titled "kill to survive" which i still have the orginal cassette from 1988 thats the audio you are hearing on here.
i know alot of great tuneage was on tapes and thats what was available back in the day before cd's besides they didnt make portable 8 track walkmans they had cassette walkmans though thats what i love. i play 1 every day to this day. i record off you tube and jam at work. the quality isnt as great as a really great cd player but it works well enough.besides the tape walkman wont skip and fits in your pocket better than a cd player..i know every one has gone digital now.
This was huge news in the local rock community when they got signed.....all the young musicians knew Meliah Rage were good....but this caused surprise and wonder too !! This song was ALWAYS one of my favorites by them.
how do you record a tape to mp3 then post it without terms of violation,i have a shitload of tapes from the 80's everything fom thrash to death to in between i have about 400 or so tapes 1500 records with songs i like to share aswell

This song sounds so heavy on tape,i bet if it was put on a cd it would lose most of its heaviness. Or maybe it has to do with the age of the tape :S

Yea this cassette still sounds and plays great and it's my original from 1988.
