I just recently got into Windir. I had heard of them a few years ago but never listened to them. But now that I have. I really am glad. Valfar was a musical genius. He definitely knew what he was doing when composing his band's music. Very melodic and all the songs work and flow together perfectly. Such a shame he lost his life. But it was a very metal way to go, during an intense snowstorn. He may be gone but his music and legacy will live on forever. R.I.P. Terje "Valfar" Bakken

@fatalordeal Valfar died in a car accident near Sogndal (his native town). He didn't died cause of the accident, but cause of hypotermia (20 hours after crash). In fact, no one known he had an accident, and the help comes to late. Cheers !

People that cannot enjoy anything they actually have to actively listen to or even... makes them have to THINK or open their minds to like it (some types of music are just an aquired taste ^^) Never looking further than music so uninspired, overproduced and lacking of talent and heart it could never generate any real emotions. Apparently, being mediocre is the best path to popularity. Bah.
