  • i hear these all the time were i live

  • Oha!A Black Goldfinch!They are very Rare!

  • Your birds are beautiful, and obviously well cared for. I used to keep a variety of finches, and still miss the constant chatter. People who argue against captivity are usually hard pressed to come up with a better reason than saying we are denying them their freedom. Freedom to do what? Animals' "desires" seem to be fairly basic. If an animal in captivity is "unhappy" it will not sing; it will not breed; and in drastic cases it will not eat. We are only "denying" struggle for survival.

  • me gustaria tener algun albino vendes?

  • yes, these birds belong into the free nature, dont lock them in a cage everybody should love the nature.

  • Keeping these birds or any wild birds is wrong, and illegal in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1980

  • these are not wild theyre captive bred you dinlow ...

you should stop abortion and divorce in the UK ... dont you have enough binge drinkers and arab gangs to complain about??

  • @MalteSer001 All I know is ANY captive bred bird should NEVER be just let loose.

That's about as cruel as anyone can get.

  • im 14 years old me and my dad live in ireland we are breeding some of our native birds like golfinch greenfinch linnet lesser redpoll and siskin if you are intrested in irish native birds visit this site NATIVE BIRDS THEIR MULES AND HYBRIDS and talk to some of the best bird keepers in ireland

  • These birds should not be kept in captivity.

  • Neither should you

  • @normalil

iv'e actually been told this about my jackdaw and all I have to say is I couldn't make him leave if I tried, so I don't keep him anywhere

  • @HardTowel I don't mean to be offensive, but a jackdaw is a lot different to a goldfinch. I bet he's not kept in a cage, (thank goodness.) Open the cages of those finches and they would be off like a shot, to live the life which God intended.

  • @normalil no that's fine, im no bird expert

  • @normalil

It's no different. When a bird is imprinted on humans they can't and should never be released into the wild. It's as good as signing their death cert. God has nothing to do with any of it.

  • @Manceinion How can you say that God has nothing to do with it? Surely it was he who created them...I don't remember the book of Genesis mentioning cages or captive breeding!

  • @normalil

I don't mean any disrespect to yourself, but the bible means absolutely nothing to me. I've always wanted to study it further but I get the distinct impression that caged birds were not the only thing the good book fails to mention.

Finches have evolved from one common ancestor. We humans have tamed and bred them using our eyes and ears to select the ones we find attractive. These birds have no place in the wild.

  • @normalil- lol @ god. Answer me one question: what about the Dinosaurs?

  • @HardTowel

I'd love to see your jackdaw! ^^

  • @normalil they were born in captivity and the birds that i breed are healthy

  • @wanaa66 I find it hard to deal with, that any bird is bred in captivity. However, I appreciate my ignorance, and your expertise. Thanks for your dignifiied reply.

  • cartooone

  • Beautifull Goldfinches amazing work you have done here very good :-).

  • masallah

  • Beautifull birds, i also breed mutations myself trying some yellow sattinete white heads this year

  • i believe breeding birds or animals yourself for some new species mix bredding them and mutating them is haram. its going agaist the allah's creation, challenging him you can do better job in making more better birds, animals(white lion/tiger) or btter crop(genetically modified corn, wheat cotton, etc) all this is an insult to allah's beautiful creation which is MADE PERFECT. NO CHANGES OR NO MUTATION OR NO MODIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED...

  • very nice, keep breeding them fof all to see.

  • lol ...lucky for us we dont care about god as much as u do ... I believe that we are continuing our god's creations .. its like your own son ... you love him even if he doesnt look exactly like you are ..
