i have vegas studio 9 Platinum version and many things are different , starting with file>new, i don't get settings window at all. Then U have much more option to choose video resolution , then frame rate ( I have just 3 - 15, 25 and 29,970 ) ? can you tell me where I can found that 9 pro version ? and what UMP means ? even entering text is not like that ( i can't figure out how to add text at all ) :(

Sony Vegas works best with .WMV extension files. I used avi files they also work however sometimes it gets buggy. So best is to use the standard WMV.

I have a pretty big problem. I'm trying to make an intro for my channel with a block of 16 videos in one video. I understand that it would crash when i put them all in, so i'm trying to do like 5 or 6 at a time. I rendered one of them and it is 2.5 MB. When i put that itself in a blank Vegas file, it crashes. Any ideas on how i can edit this clip with 6 small clips inside it? It is a very small file so i don't see why i can't edit on it
