oh man, I'm so glad I wasn't the only one thinking about a terrorist threat! Or a threat on Obama (of course I didn't want that to happen!!!) lol, but I was kinda thinking it, and wondering why I was thinking it. Me and Olly were watching the speech and Obama made our nipples hard, he was amazing!
It was an amazing inauguration. I sat and watched the entire thing today, when my dad came home from work. There were times when I laughed and almost felt like crying. Mr. Obama is going to be an amazing person, this is such a historic event.. it's definetly a cool experience to live through it all
I watched all the coverage live and it was pretty amazing. NPR has been talking all about the logistics of the inauguration and how they had 10,000 security people in the crowds. My inner cynic was just waiting for a bomb threat or someone getting grounded for gun possession. Luckily all went off without a hitch. Phew! Now the rest of our lives can begin.
i was thinking the same thing when he was giving his speech that someone might try to hurt him. what was funny is that i was looking through the crowd like an officer to try and pick out someone who was reaching in their coat or something. as if i was able to jump through the screen and in front Obama to protect him. it was an amaaaazzzzing ceremony!!! woo :)
Omg I was just thinking that he might get shot :S I was actually terrified with the idea of that happening as he came out to the open......but we gotta trust all that securitie!!

it's ok that you're thinking about bombs [maybe]. during that speech at the end...benediction or something...the way he was rhyming at the end...when he said 'brown can get around', i immediately thought of a toilet [and poo jokes to go with it]. if you didn't see that, you should wait until cspan or someone posts it here. it was interesting.

actually you sounded like Bill Clinton no bush :) I loved the end :) It is amazing how many showed up for it. They are saying he will be historical like Abraham Lincoln. That is who he identifies with actually. The bible used was the same one from AL's swearing in. I can't believe you thought that either about possible attacks! it's natural with that big a crowd. I was just watching them watch the parade and they were sitting ducks on the front steps with just their wives and 1 other person. :)
