Lol I had a budgie...and a few years later I bought my (female) budie a little friend. I thought it was a male budgie when I bought it because of the blue above their beak. But what I didn't know was that all budgies have that blue above their beak when they are young. So I got stuck with 2 females. And apperantly they don't go very well together. The new one was so dominant I had to bring it back to the store cause she wouldn't let my old budgie eat and I couldn't let them fly together
Cool, but my bird can do the same thing, while doing it more exaggerating... and can talk more than 5 sentences, and can whistle Jingle Bells... keep up the good work!
Sunshine was 6 months old in this video. By 9 months she had an amazing vocabulary that could only be compared to her extraordinary personality. I've known a lot of birds, from budgies to macaws, and I have never met a feathered being like her.
Sadly, Sunshine passed away at the age of 9 months from a congenital kidney defect. I wish that I had taken more videos of her, but instead I enjoyed the moments as they came.
My parakeet figured out it was a video on my I pod and lost intrest...
