  • Comment removed

  • i like you 2 i think you have a great partnership

  • hey have you guys tried putting a ducted fan on the wild hawk

  • do y'all prefer not to fly near wifi or what because i have problems with the plane wanting to glitch.

  • the shunda (accipiter badius) you have comes with beginner wings along with the normal wing set why not tell the beginners to put them on instead of the streamers that may get caught in the tail of there new plane?

  • What's a "warsher"?

  • streamers are cool

  • gliders are awesome, it would be fun to throw that down a sloped hill then and try to glide it around without using the motor.

  • use it to know to know how heavy gs you pull

  • "warsher" HAHA

  • where can i buy the yellow one?

  • some one who buys 3 gliders in there rc flying career are rich! Usualy it goes glider, cessna, the edf jet.

  • lol at 2:07 he said weeeeeeeeeeeee

  • What's the difference between brushed and brushless motors??

  • @koolmini5 even ough i just put something up... ill answer this lol... a brushed motor actually has a metal brush inside rubbing of the shaft and other somehow scraping f the wire coil... idk about brushed motors but brushless has a magnet attached to the shaft and a coil in the motor but NOT touching the magnet or something like that.

  • @koolmini5 Motors work with magnets, brushed motors control the timing of the magnets by rubbing brushes against the spinning insides of the motor, brushless motors have their magnets controlled by the speed controler which senses where the motor is in its rotation and magnetises the magnets accordingly to keep it spinning.

  • the slope diver looks better

  • i'm gonna convert an airhogs titan foam throw glider into an rc plane an it will be awesome

  • Plane on the floor is a Multiplex Easy Glider Pro. the best beginner plane around if you are good. but the Multiplex easy star is the exac same as the wild hawk

  • worsher worsher worsher worsher worsher its washer washer washer

  • lol woman of steel!

  • That speedededededed it :P

  • I just test flu one of these today, It did not have enough ass to fly in this Michigan weather, the wind was just killer.

  • the wild hawk is 3 channel, stock. a lot of ppl mod it with ailerons to make it 4 channel, or even switch it with the rudder to keep the stock remote.

  • streamers also will work as a makeshift tail. i made a flying wing with no vertical slab or anything. it was flat. i put two 10 foot ribbons on each wingtip and the drag they caused justified not having a tail. daves x 36 could fly with no gyros (probably) if he had enough streamers or long ribbons on the back.

  • sorry but i live in england so i cant buy that its all dollars($) i need pounds can get it in pounds(£)

  • beginners should buy a plane with the prop and motor fitted to the back of the wing, usually the prop and motor shaft bend beyond repair when the plane hits the ground

  • speed di di it up lol!!!!!

  • do you recomend for beginners to put the streamers on?

  • yeah really... xD

  • Yeah i would like some ice cream

  • SO IS THE WILD HAWK A 3 CHANNEL OR 4 CHANNAL

  • i have an idea put 2 strips in the back or one on top of the back wing then it will pull the front up maybe better

  • does the wild hawk or the slope driver have wheels

  • @stardude31 No, but you can probably find some on the internet or buy some, then attach them on.

  • @stardude31, the wild hawk does have wheels, dont listen to infestor

  • hi folks im interested in starting to fly, the hawk thats mention, can somebody message me and tel me where to get one and how much im from the uk .

  • Anyone want some ice cream?

  • whee is vals line dave

  • how do you glue your foam.. is it with hot glue?? i have one but then i let my little bro try to fly my wild hawk.. bad idea... the nose snapped of :(

  • do you use hot glue to fix your wild hawk? i have one but then let my little bro have a go... bad idea. the nose snapped off :(

  • worsher. its a WAH-SHER!!

  • where is the store

  • This video is the only one you posted with an on-board camera.

  • i see on nitroplanes they have the standard wing version (like you fly here) and a folded wing version that bend up.. what would the differences be in flying the two?

  • near the ending that is the most abnoxous noise i've ever heard

  • you guys are hilarious! awesome ahah

  • you missed the most important feature of the wild hawk - you can mount an icepick or dagger on the front and skewer people with it. like that ice cream man. and then make off with the ice cream buggy.

  • hey mike, i have a ?. If i were to buy a stock rtf wild hawk and use super cub lp floats on it would it have the power to fly

  • i wanna see more flights like this...low budget planes, 3 and 4ch. like...the slo-v, other dynam planes, basically any RTF under $120

  • Warsher, what the hell is a warsher? it's a washer LOL and Soldering iron is the term your after but hey good video mate, you have done quite a few good informative videos for beginners, top stuff.

And your girlfriend/wife does a great job filming, I wish I had a partner who was interested in my hobbies.

  • you should do some rc ships/boat vids

also can you make a video on the b-25 bomber ? thankyou

  • If You Want A Real Nice Beginners Plane You Should Try The Ultra-Micro J-3 Cub From Parkzone

  • a really good trainer is the sky fly 2 or soaring eagle

  • its a joke dumbass

  • You talk about this stuff very well, good job

  • @Goldwing777777 Exactly, Dave Powers rules!

  • is the slope diver hadits engine in back and the wild hawk was plastic it'd be the perfect plane fr begginers.

  • Coool! Love the streamers!

  • id rather go with the slope diver because it has a plastic body.

  • is it completely plastic like hard plastic? so if i crash it has a better chance of surviving? because if soo i would go with that one too! :)

  • only the body is plastic, foam everywhere else (wing, tail wing, vertical stabilizer)

  • my shaft is fine to

  • haha

  • you know the flytech fragonfly ornithopter has a streamer you can put on and it acts as a tail.

  • WIIIII RIBBON TAIL xD

  • Is this plane strong enough to lift a creative vado cam? If anyone knows, I'll be thankful to read the answer.

  • bought it a while back but never thought of doin it so i took it up today i live in texas now but its hot here 65% any ways ya it can do that if you put it torwards the mid shaft you should be able to take it up but it wont gain altitude very fast

  • XD i live in warshington state :} thank you for posting

  • They sell thin streamer line like that, I think you're supposed to use it for gift-wrapping & the like but it's smooth and light so it has a lot less drag.

  • anybody wants a ice cream? haha

  • @BCPCX me me me!!!

  • Too bad it crashed X_X...Nice flying btw

  • warsher? woooow... ¦(

  • which would you guys suggest for a person who has never flown an rc plane before the wild hawk or the yellow plane

  • get the wild hawk they are great. I'm new to rc plane. after watch Dave video. I went to Habor Freight. and bought one . wild hawk is a forgiving airplane . if you crash and break . just hot glue it together and it will fly again.

  • haha... one more flight!

  • good airplan

  • what happened at the end LOL!

  • Tell me about motors, electric motors, pls.

  • Help! computer! Stop all the downloading!

Glitchy on the spot? It must be a Power Spot--energy vortes...

  • can you put landing gear?

  • i think so

  • lol... always "1 more"...

  • Easy star from Multiplex is my best beginner plane. I have on and it realy is my favourite. You can fly on thermiek but also fly on motor. I've flown for 15 minutes with motor off. I realy love that plane.

Wild hawk is good alse, but i prefer easy star.

  • are you guy going to test the piper j3 cub thats on your web site?

  • u should put the party strings on the Mig to slow it down, but still have full throttle

  • how fast do one of thse things go?

  • hey Dave i am starting to get into the rc plane hobby i have flown a few different planes one of which was my friends modified wild hawk so should i buy a wild hawk or build a 300S from your PDF plans

  • the wild hawk comes ready to fly with everything, for only like 79 bucks, if u were to build the 300S, you would have to buy radio gear which would be more expensive, and the wild hawk is just soo much more fun

  • ok thanks for the advice

  • whats a warsher lol

  • @RcUniverseGuy its daves way of saying washer.

  • @alt572 lolol i know just bustin his balls

  • what kind of camera is it ?

and how do you place it ?

  • it was cool

  • Im a real beginner, like absolutely no flight time except for an air hog in which you just pump air and toss. How much for a basic 4 channel, non sport rc plane? like a trainer plane for actual pilots.

  • i would buy a simulator and train on that if your going to start flying without an instructor if you start on a 4 channel its going to be a 10 second flight i would get a cheap 3 channel and a sim

  • That washer is bent like him, I'd like to make him eat his plane

  • hey I would like to add some video respones to some of your videos i have done a 6 part series of how to do an arf airplane nitro gas motor 40 60 size balsa wood planes i know you mostly do electric stuff i was hopeing you wouldnt mind me adding them since i am trying to teach at the end of part 6 i throw out a big thanks to you guys for the vids you have put out will you please let me know because i would like to add responses to a bunch of your vids please watch them see if i missed anything

  • less talk camera girl.

  • bad cameragirl

  • thats a really good price you can buy it for like i bourght a crape helecopter for 80 bux and it was cheap and thats better!

  • That single ribbon trick would probably make for some nice knife-edging... : )

  • would u guys recommend a piper cub j3 plane for a begginer like me because i really like this plane

  • us rednecks put duck tape 4 our streammers

  • whats a soddering gun?

I know what a Soldering gun is .

  • same thing

  • The worsher?

  • @DarkLordRoto its called a wosher

  • @skinfoot wow... that was a year ago.... cool, my life can move on now ^^

  • 4:55 Haha ;D

  • The Accipiter Badius is a very old RC plane that I assume is still in high demand.

I bought mine 4 years ago. Same parts and all.

Its a crappy plane, but the best plane you can get for the price. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experiment with RC's. I cut away the nose on mine, and added a 400 size motor. I think it comes with A 300 or close.

This plane is cool when you up the power on it.

  • How fast could you crash this one into an oncoming freight train?

  • Just slightly slower than my fist crashes into your face.

  • ailerons are alot easyer to stear with imo, i started off with a 3 channel and i smashed it into the ground at full speed cors i lost controll with only rudder as you cant stear as sharply

  • True, ailerons are helpful to 'steer' with (not 'stear'). Or to be more precise, to exert control in the roll axis.

  • what do you do if your shaft is bent?

  • you buy a new motor.... basically if the shaft is bent then its fucked lol

  • well....u can try to straighten it out n possibly fail n make it worse/fix it, but normally theres just no way you can repair the shaft, and well....

you gotta buy yourself a new motor!

  • Dave,

Wouldn't it make sense to hang a streamer from the tail, giving exactly the sort of stabilizing effect as a kite?

  • oooohhh uuuhhh huhhuuuuuuhhhh ooohhh hhhhuuuuhhh

  • i think you should just use ailrons and elivator it was alot easyier after some time on the simulator and a little research on how it all works of course

  • cool

  • weeeeeeeeeee :D

  • Don't forget to throw your planes into the wind to help for easier take-off's. Dave forgot to mention that for you beginners out there.

  • Is it common for a start up plane of only having 3-channel (like the Wild Hawk).

But what does it actually mean of having 3 channel? The presenter suggest it can have rudder and elevator control as well. So does it mean:

    Channel 1 = motor speed

    Channel 2 = rudder control

    Channel 3 = elevator + aileron control?

  • 3-channel has no ailerons.

  • But what about V-tail plane "rudderator" with 3 channel and sold as RTF for beginners?

Anyway, can you buy 4 channel plane instead and disconnect the ailerons controls for beginners flying before confident enough to fly with the 4th control? It better this way rather than adding the 4th control??????

  • You could also just not use the ailerons until you're confident.

  • Anyone else getting little scips during the video? Audio glitches it sounds like :(

  • k thanks for the relpy what did u say ur email was

  • the streamer chasiing thing they do it in ill. i have seen it. try getting some of the guys at ur field to try it. you all are doing a great job on these videos. keep it up.

  • Dude,RC Powers videos are getting better and better! I don't know, maybe it is just you.:)

  • Oh,I forgot to mention - those strips are yes, very good for beginners, who are into RC flying.:)

  • nothing like a dude that has to make a rude comment.

  • idk if its jus me but it seems like ur rc vids are gettin crappier jus sayn as advise

  • Some weeks we only have 20-30 hours to put into one RC video. Other weeks we have the full 80 hours it takes to make one. So don't worry, some will always be better than others.

  • Have you ever flew any of your planes without the wings????

  • Ha, yeah. They crash though.

  • that looks like a great begginer plane but in my oppinion ide say the hobbico sky fly is the best.

  • she's a woman of steel! *superman theme*

  • I scream for ice cream!

  • I now want a Wild Hawk

  • "warsher"

  • It's Soldering... not Sodering!!

  • WOW i had no idea RC planes can be that cheap, i don't have much excuse for not trying it our now! I always thought the gliders were cool
