  • It is eins , zwei , drei , vier , fünf , sechs , sieben , acht , neun , zehn..

  • Eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf, sechs, sieben, acht, neun, zehn is how I pronounce it?

  • een, twee, drie, vier, vijf, zes, zeven, acht, negen, tien, elf, twaalf, dertien.....

  • how do you pronounce 'drie' and 'een'? im kinda confuse the sound.

  • northern- wrong pronunation : eejn, twej, drriee, fierr, fijff, ses, sefe, achhht, nejge, tiejn

  • How did they invent such an ugly language? Even uglier than German!

  • @XxgangjouxX

YOU ARE SO MEAN!!! THAT IS THEIR CULTURE!!!!

  • Het is vier en vijf niet fier en fijf.

  • 0:30 you just wasted 30 seconds of my time

  • prounaoce same arabic g ch r ij good

  • What good is 1-10? Come on, at least go to 20 because as you know that will give you a solid grasp of how numbers are put together. 1-20, then 30, 40, 50 etc.

  • @ Maidenfairy

Yes, it somehow is. In the middle ages, the Dutch language also had what we call 'naamvallen(the Germans still have 'naamvallen'). This actually means that if you say different senteces, you pronounse it diffrent. Example: In German, 'my father' is 'mein Vatter'. 'My father's house' in Geman is 'meines Vatters Haus'. I'm from Holland, at school we learn Dutch, English, French and German. At some school you can also take Spanish lessons. Just a little background information ;)

  • so dutch is like german yes or no

    si o no???

  • @Maidenfairy12 Its similar, but that doesnt mean its like German. All Scandinavian languages are also similar, doesnt mean that if you speak Dutch you can speak German. Both languages are very different, its only similar with some grammatic and some of the words are the same or you could recognize them :)

  • I am trying to learn Dutch, so I searched "Counting in Dutch" and the first video is for Mika fans. I love Mika! Thank you.

  • @rleb09 I think it's better to take real lessons :p

  • Dit faalt! HA!

  • It would suck to speak dutch with someone who has smelly breath, with all the G and Ch's pronounced like that lol, cool language though :))

  • @idontevenknow93 In Belgium people don't speak like that...

  • Erg goed!!!

  • thank you it is always fun to learn this way, you are my savior, THANK YOU, i feel like an dutch expert

  • "acht"

  • en dan nu een bekske koffie;D

  • OMG mika?

  • Boring voice...

  • What's the name of the last song??

  • @sprikhaan

    whaha niet zo aardig doen!!!!

  • If you can speak English and German, you can understand written Dutch. That's so funny xD

    Thanks, I enjoyed ;)

  • also intros should be 10 secs max

  • good video, ruined by pics of blokes in the middle, I want to learn dutch not see him!

  • @NorwichMusicMan This vid is especially made for Mikafans. (Though non-fans are also allowed to watch it of course and learn!=)). That's why you see that bloke. The intro is longer because of the song. It wouldn't sound nice if I stopped it right after 10 secs.

I can understand your irritation. I hope you find another good video on youtube. I'm sure there will be one =)

  • @MikaGirliee then why dont you put '' for mikafans;'' in the title or something?

    pretty dumb actually.

  • @NorwichMusicMan "blokes". What a funny word.

  • If you guys can already good dutch then translate this in english

Jullie zijn erg goed in dat beroep.

    Hint:beroep = work

  • Dutch is the worst language to listen to, but awesome to read IMO

    sorry

  • @theawesomesausage

    that's true, that's very true

  • @theawesomesausage i am dutch and ive bin told a thousand times we have a pretty awesome language

    the germanic thing

    i love it :D

ohyeah and most dutch can speak german english and french some even spanish aswel dutch people are the most advanced in speaking languages in the world perhaps

  • @bleushift Yeah because dutch is a pretty mixed language. german + english = dutch. ive heard it is pretty easy to learn too.

  • @theawesomesausage

Well it isn't a mixture from English and German.. it has some of both languages but it isn't a mixture. And you will die because of the grammar. (:

  • @XVCnickski Yeah, it isn't a mixture, but the language is pretty easy to learn anyway (someone I know said that). I'm getting into Russian and currently learning German at school. It's not that heard to understand the grammar, but harder remember if you're going to talk fluently :/

  • Arme buitenlanders.. haha

Bedankt voor uploaden, iemand uit Syrië wilde graag Nederlands leren.

  • this was a good vid (: what helped me was being able to count in german 2.

    ik hou von zeven (:

  • 'thanks! nice vid

  • Most people say V, and not F, in the begin of the word, but it is both possible.

And I can know, because I live in Holland,

    Tomorry it's queensday!!!!

  • What's this song? I like it!

  • @LLover3 Not sure which of the three songs you're talking about. So I'll mention them all. The first one is love today, 2nd is relax take it easy and 3rd one is grace kelly. All three are from MIKA.

  • I live in enkhuizen (north holland, against the houtribdijk) where we speak more like 1. eun 2. twee 3.derie 4.vie (no R) 5. voif 6. ses 7. zeuven 8.acht 9.neugen 10.tien
  • This is really easy! haha now I can count in dutch!!

  • So you think that if I go on pronouncing "r" in a french or german way, like "g", NOT a spanish "r" (that is pronounced with the tip of the tongue) that would not be a fatal mistake?"

  • not at all. a french r you have to roll your tongue, its pretty mutch the same has english

  • The r in French is from the back of the throat. It's in Italian and Spanish that it's on the tongue.

  • i have a doubt: in dutch all words that start with "v" has the "f" sound, just like in German?

    ty!

  • No that's just because of her accent. There are people who just prononce the "v" as a "v".

  • it really depends on the accent :p, there are a lot of different ones; 10 kilometers can really change the pronounciations ;) but indeed the v seems to change to an f unless its in a word like volvo where it is more like folwo

  • And along with "v" I have one more problem - letter "r". Here it's pronounced in a french way, almost like the Dutch "g", but many Dutchmen pronounce it with the tip of the toung, like a spanish "r". Bizarre.

  • It depends on where you are in holland... If you mean many Dutchmen in the east then its really different than from the North, I have lived in the west where they speak the official Dutch (in Haarlem) and now I live in the north where it is more farmerDutch :P and they all pronounce differently

  • yes, that's true =)

  • not all of'em but many do

  • @Azumarilli

    i noticed that 2

  • @Azumarilli dutch and german are qutie similar. kinda like italian and spanish

  • @Azumarilli no it is'nt true it's the accent of the maker of the video

  • @Azumarilli No, not true!

It's her accent. I come from Belgium.

We say "vijf" where some Dutch accents say "fijf"

  • @taneeke not true :D

  • @PROsnipekid It's for learning Dutch, right? Better start with the grammar :p

Maybe I should start learning English...

  • 1:32 ownz

like dude/girl i can pause the fkng vid if i wanna take a break of been ret0rd like u

  • sight

  • @MeqeTrefe23 Next time you want to take a break of been, go ahead.

  • @FireRupee Next time you want to take a break of getting in your things, go ahead.

  • @MeqeTrefe23 Sorry bro, that doesn't even make sense.

  • @FireRupee

1st of all: Im not ur "bro".

2nd : i repeat, get in ur problems.
