whats with the homos on here, who gives a shit if your pro at drifting in a GAME. that takes no skill what so ever except maybe being able to sit there for hours and hours doing nothing but watching a virtual car skid on virtual pavement.. go out and drift for real... doesnt cost alot at all... just go find a beater rwd and practice..

Dr Yang, watch my GT3 or GT4 drift vids in the R32, both nearly 10 mins each. A good setup is soft, or super soft tires in front, medium to hard tires in rear, soft suspension up front, stiff suspension in the back, raise the tire pressure in the rear to slide more, and extend the life of the tire, turn off TCS, ASM, and Yaw, Acceleration preload and initial torque both to full, decelleration torque to halfway, also set the brake bias so that it gets slightly sideways, soon you'll be a pro

No matter what anyone says, to be able to hit the apex cleanly while drifting using the weight transfer method means you have to know where each corner is, and what speed to induce the drift @... he did it cleanly, I just wish it was longer, I wanna see more, good job bro. :D
In real life it would fit no problem. My Mazda FD3S RX-7's 13BREW (Real car, not GT4 lol) is a relatively small engine, so it could pop in the thick hood of a Miata/Eunos no problem.
DrYang92, actually his drifting is pretty simple. Turn the ASM-Oversteer to Zero and leave the ASM-Understeer on really high (ump-teen). This reduce any possible understeer tendencies, so the rear-wheel break traction VERY EASILY. Then control the drift with the gas-pedal. It's the easiest and cleanest way to drift in the game.
Oh please...Any monkey with enough seat time can do that. Messing around with the ASM is the absolute easiest way. Skill is drifting with stock and no mod whatsoever.

I use the Shigeno Trueno, 240Z(s30) the Sileighty, the 62 Lotus Elan , the Iroc Z , and the my favorite the Lexus GS400. I have been a GT fan since the first GT came out . I used to had so much fun taking turns on 3 wheels on a CRX that had everything tuned out but with a a stock suspension , i just had fun how my friends would react to it haha. I was unbeteable with the trueno or the Mini cooper

Whats your setup for the Miata? I have a lightly modded NA in GT4 but would like to have a starting point for the setup to drift. I imagine a whole lot of negative camber. Cool vid and cool drifting.

I'm not saying you're bad in anyway; I actually think of the contrary of you (good job BTW). I'm just saying that I notice too many people driving in real life and in the game always complain that they can't drive because of the car, rather than blame their lack of practice and/or skill.
i use a DS2 for the game, and yes people do whine alot when they cant do something right. if your asking if i can drive a miata in Real Life, Maybe ive only drove a miata once, but i do have a 2000 Mustang and i know for a fact that it will DRIFT....
too loose the snappy-ness, u gotta get a roll cage (to immitate a roof)and some rear struts and hard suspension, so the rear can slide.., keep the front softer for some control.., and they become quite easy to drift.. just release the steering wheel and catch it straight when u feel shit sliding out ur butt cheecks :) n counter if u need too, great cars to drift!! takes a lil more skill than a nissan
