I have done some work in Cinema 4d recently but besides that i'm working on PHP and Server Administration. My latest project is atomicpool(.com} and i've been making some good money off of that and i think i'm gonna stick with programming.

instead of saving a new file as "hi" and wasting disk space, you could just dupe the layer, put it on top, and right click>time>freeze frame

Then do the alt+open bracket.
