Actually, the pregnant woman is not Helen Mirren, but a double. The Excalibur DVD has the option of allowing you to play the movie with John Boorman's comments in the background, and he mentioned that the pregnant woman is not Helen Mirren.
Don't worry son. When you get a bit older you'll understand just how much better older women are. You're obviously too young to get that yet. No problem. It's normal.
@jjdecani Well, perhaps i am too young in that respect. However i've seen better looking older women than Helen Mirren, in her same age group too. (That's excluding Joan Rivers though)
hmm this is true, i am fairly sure however that there is some law preventing babies under a certain age from appearing in movie - not sure if this is relevent to this movie however
This is the weirdest thing I have seen in my entire 25 years of life watching films. Truly... weird.. there must be a better word to describe it, but I just can't find it. I must be in shock. OK!! TERE IT IS:.. SHOCKING!!!
Undoubtly, Helen Mirren is a very very talented actress. Thanks for posting, i guess. :)
PD: To mclarenf45, it's kind of nasty to say she's sexy when she's giving birth...I respect your opinion, of course, I just think is nasty. hahaha.
LOL, I was more interested in looking at her body, hot body though! I wanted to edit the scene where the baby won't be shown but the story would be different then !
Well.. After I wrote this commentary I remembered "The Cook, The Thief, his wife and her lover" and "PIXOTE" a brazilian film... yikes.. and... now I'm in blank again... hahahaha
@CAMARO30082 pls take your place in line...

I'm sorry but Helen Mirren's character gave birth to a 4 month old baby. Real newborns are tinier than that.

My mother would be screaming the same thing at the screen.

And they're always drenched in blood and attached to an umbilical cord, followed by the disgusting afterbirth - but you never see any of that do you?

well, magic was involved. (sometimes it helps to suspend disbelief) great movie.

In real life she never had children and never wanted any.

Lucky bastard!!! Has a hot wife and a hot sister banging him at the same time!!!
messagefrombilly 2 years ago 9
would you "bang" your hot sister? LOL!
AaronShaunBrennan 2 years ago
His hot wife was also banging his best friend; and his hot sister hated his guts.
If you think childbirth is "sexy", just put it
in the search window and watch the first
six things that come up. Personally, I
always thought this was the most unnecessary scene in the film.

@messagefrombilly Don't let your sister see this comment lol
