Most of the teabaggers probably are big fans of Sarah Palin as well. Not surprising.
LMAO@Mikey Tyler. is he for real? The College Republicans is the vehicle that can drive fiscal responsibility? He says this after 8 years of RIDICULOUS spending by Bush and his GOP friends?
I'm a Ron Paul-supporting libertarian. I've always opposed big gov't and overspending, yet just b/c a Democrat president is in office you want me to believe the teabaggers are all of a sudden fiscal conservatives? Yeah, sure. They talk a big game of "freedom", yet they're the exact same people who would take away gay rights and the right to marry in an INSTANT!! You talk about freedom, but where is the freedom of dying patients to voluntary euthanasia and assisted suicide? Among other things
The teabaggers are a bunch of phonies. They're just opposing a president from the other party spending. Where were they when Bush was in office? Why weren't Dick Armey or Freedomworks organizing these kind of rallies before 2009??
If you want true fiscal conservatism and liberty, support libertarian groups like bureaucrash. Support Ron Paul. Ironically, I don't hear you teabaggers making much a stink about Ron Paul or asking him to speak. He's the best fiscal conservative in Congress!!
Exactly, if it was required and/or my country needed me I would not hesitate to serve. But I don't have a desire to be in the military, so I went to college.
What is your point? All Republicans MUST serve in the military?
80% of Whites and Hispanics in the military supported McCain. The recruiters at my school are also Republican. Everyone I know in the military is Republican. You have no point.
My point is that college republicans don't have a problem marching to keep mommy and daddies taxes low, but you can't seem to get them to march to the recruiting office.
Their already in COLLGE, if they wanted to be in the military most of them would already be there. An analogy to what you're saying would be claiming that plumbers don't care about electricians because they are not electricians. Absurd.
According to the Military Times surveys 68% of respondents backed the Republican presidential candidate, John McCain. If you take out blacks that number shoots up to almost 80%
If they wanted to be. But they don't, do they? They're following their leaders by sending someone else's loved ones into harms way.
Did you complain when Bush blew the budget surlplus Clinton left him by attacking a country that didn't attack us first? Did you march against that? You already had a massive debt to pay, thanks to your idiot president. I didn't see any college republicans marching against that.
Nicely veiled racist statement, by the way. You really ARE a republican, aren't you?
You have no point with the military statement. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to be in the military. There is also nothing wrong with people who are not in the armed forces being in favor of war. 70% of the military supported McCain, because Republicans support our troops.
OK Since you won't you facts or logic now you're just going to call me a "racist". That makes sense.
I complained about Bush over spending as well. But Obama has doubled his deficit within the first 100 days.
Ta Daaaaaaaah! The tea parties worked everyone! Obama's going to assemble a team to go through the budget line by line and figure out which items are worth keeping and which ones can be eliminated!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. He's been saying that since before he was innaugurated. Damn my memory is short.
Hey, look... white people. REALLY white people.

I Went to this rally. Loved the TeenPact speaker. In fact, my son, who is 13, will be going to TeenPact next year. He was very inspired at the Rally.

Ask one of them to sign up. Then watch the hilarity that follows as they explain why they can do more good in college than they can in the military.

I am a college Republican, if we had a draft I would gladly serve, but we don't.
If these college students felt called to be in the military they would be there.
Your argument is ridiculous, that no one can be pro-military unless they serve?
There is a college republican from my chapter right now that is going into the marines as soon as he graduates this spring.

If we had a draft, you'd be required to serve. Unless, like all good republicans, daddy could get you out of it. Why not join now?

Use fact and logic, it really helps.

And it's not "our daddies taxes" WE are the ones who are going to have to pay off the massive debt that has doubled since Obama took office!

So the College Republicans will "defend their country" against taxes, but they refuse to defend it by serving in the military?
Yeah, that makes sense.
