Absolutely wonderful. Just a few days ago I remarked the need for more Sabbath songs, and then the Lord leads me to this one. Thanks for sharing! I have bookmarked Neville Peter's website. =)

Happy Sabbath to all! Neville has recently become a favorite artist of mine. Praise God! I thoroughly enjoy his first album and hope to acquire some more of his music soon. As an amateur songwriter he is an inspiration to me. We need more of our singers/songwriters to do music that speaks about the sabbath and other Bible principles in their music and not just do music that is popular. Music that elevates the mind is of greater benefit than music that is designed to move the body.

How do you keep the Sabbath? The scripture says by leaving in the name of the Son of God. Whoever has the Son of God has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life.

Amen the ONE and only Commandment that God wrote "Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy". This is the only Commandment where evidence that God created heaven and earth is mentioned. To neglect this commandment (by observing Sunday as the Sabbath) is to neglect the fact God created Heaven and earth. He blessed the Sabbath, hallowed it and sanctified it. Who are we to say otherwise? mere mortals........

Did you know Sunday was also a day of Rest?
Lev 23:7 In the first day you shall have a holy convocation: you shall do no work therein.

If you read Lev 23 you will see it was based on the ceremonial days in which certain practices would be done. If you are trying to apply this to the resurrection, you tear down the whole ceremonial service and the sanctuary and then everything comes out of order. My friend you have to be very careful when it comes to context because from what I see, you are applying everything to Sunday worship.

My friend if you read the context it was talking about the issue of fasting on certain days which were not esteemed by others. To take a verse and apply it to anything is dangerous. Always study the Bible in it's context

The “Sabbath rest” should not be equated with the keeping of the 7th day Sabbath of the Old Covenant, because the Israelites who did keep it did not enter this “rest.” The writer explains there is “another Day.” Since Joshua and Israel kept the 7th day Sabbath this must mean something other than what Sabbatarians interpret it as. Joshua did not bring them into this day nor did he enter it himself. When we BELIEVE in Jesus, we enter His rest.

The grace is of Christ, and that grace is what brings us back up to Him when we fall. That's how merciful and grace-filled our Creator Christ is, it is by His grace, not of our own. I LOVE CHRIST with every fiber of my being, That is why I follow Him and obey His every command. And when I fall below His laws, by His grace am I freed of my sin.By HIS GRACE, I have never ever said "by my works".

Sorry, but SDA is a cult. BTW I am a 4th generation 30 years X-SDA... So I KNOW WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT... Our Salvation is based on believing and accepting Jesus as our Lord. Jesus Christ my saved my life. I have been with my LORD now for 15yrs. I LOVE HIM because He reached down to me, Messiah is my everything, and I DO NOT study EGW, I pray,read, study, and apply His Gospel to my life. I like this song. Neville is a favorite artist of mine. Here lately my job schedules me to work late on Friday nights. Sometimes they demand I show up for training on Saturdays. I tell them I can't and I am looked upon as odd. It is nice to kinow there are folks who get what the sabbath is about, and how God created the institution as a major part of the christian walk.

What a great song! Beautiful beginning to the Sabbath. Never heard anything like this, at least not in terms of Sabbath celebration. Thanks! It's been a very difficult week and even the Sabbath isn't all that easy... This brought that little bit of consolation.
