This game rocks, but it's downfall isn't in the gameplay (gameplay is divine), it's that it's the typical cheesy japanese game storyline and dialogue, which I don't know why game developers insist on doing (put it this way, do you like the new batman movies or the old ones? Probably the new one since it's relatable considering it uses REALISTIC human actions and emotions, and no cheesy dialogue). On top, who the hell talks during battle or makes grunting sounds? No fucking body.

So I finally picked up a PS2 and a used copy of this game, and WOW. This game has hardly aged one bit. The control scheme is a little awkward, and I don't remember it being this difficult, but damnit it still looks and plays amazingly smoothly. I would say with great certainty that this, along with Shadow of the Colossus, are enough of a reason to hold on to a PS2 or an early model PS3. btw, the train part is still the shit :D

ZOE 1 was ok, but ZOE 2 blew me away. This is one of the best games ive played in my life!!! Kojima needs to make ZOE 3!!! Best part in the tune 1:10 to 1:23, makes you feel like theres a mission you have to complete in your life

I think the characters are highly dynamic and realistic, but again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In all fairness though I think we should cut this off now as we are getting WAY off-topic :D

This game, despite its short length, pretty much accomplished every scenario you couldve wanted to do if you were given a giant ass-kicking mecha. -You vs. an army? check. You wrecking an airship armada? check. You taking apart a huge train piece by piece? Check. You vs. Your evil twin in an epic finale? Fucking check. Doing it all with style equaling Dante or Kratos? Check. Goddamn Konami you're thorough.
