The movie is located in the Middle East and most of the instruments used come either from the area or Armenia and Ethiopia.

So it's not at all strange that they'd associate it with the Middle East.

I'm sorry, but I believe the pictures do not go well with the music. 'Passion' (or 'The Feeling Begins' for that matter) sounds too much like desert, sandstorms and orient to me.
