@asskickerANDco Fixed point is where the operating system can only handle whole integers , which proved to be a major flaw , considering floating point is important to create complicated software . Floating point can handle integers with decimals , giving a large variety of variables , integers and etc. to use .
Sure, but if the world was made up of just Wozniaks, no Jobs, Gates or Ballmers - there would be brilliant ideas that would never be able to find their way to market or into the hands of consumers. Woz was a genius engineer far beyond Bill Gates, but Apple would have never happened as a company without Jobs
Microsoft's help came at a steep price, which wasn't evident in 1977. In 1985, John Sculley agreed to license the Mac 'visual elements' to Microsoft for Windows in exchange for the license to continue using Microsoft BASIC on the Apple ][ line.
you forgot MacBasic, a very advanced object oriented basic developed by Apple. Microsoft wanted that and they couldn't say no because Microsoft then will stop their license for the applesoft. So this famous visual basic is a derivate from macbasic. (i think i made some errors in this sentence ;-) )
I believe Woz never got a change to write the floating point BASIC because he was doing all the freakin' technical work behind the APPLE, while Jobs was complaining all the freakin' time like a little candy-arse beyatch.
Could someone care to explain to me the difference between fixed and floating point please?? :)

Woz continues to be the best of these guys. If there were more Steve Wozniaks and fewer Jobs and Gates in the world, it would be a better place.

I love how Steve says that Woz's Interger BASIC was better than anyone else's, with Bill sitting right there next to him.

I wonder what's about Steve Job's obsession with holding a nice bottle of water.

Steve has a bigger ego which makes him use more energy and he therefore has to use a nice bottle of water.
