Ayy yo I have thin hair but it can fluff up nice like yours. The way I get mine to stay for a pretty long time is if I tease the hair, put some hairspray, keep holding the hair up for a few seconds so the hairspray dries and them let it down. The trick is to just spray it after teasing and to use a spray that dries super quick! If it doesn't then just use a hair dryer to dry the hairspray quickly. It takes more time but dude..it lasts. It does feel very stiff near the roots in the end though :(
