Many have sent me messages that Jesus says if you love me you'll keep my commandments...it's always been used from a legalistic point of view - In John 15:17 Jesus says, "This is my command: Love each other". He did not say if you love me prove it by doing laws or rules to obey. How can we be certain that these are His commandments? cont'd.....
@BigE7 Because John -- who was there when Jesus spoke these words..."And this is His command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us." (1 John 3:23) So in essence the law is summed up in loving one another - another nail in the coffin of religion.....GOOD NEWS!!!
I am a devoted Christian to Jesus Christ but I just want to know all the answers and be intelligent about it. So since the Old Testament had a fault in it and the New Testament saves everyone who believes in Jesus, does that mean God (which is perfect) made a mistake?
Does that mean we do not need to keep the ten commandments and we can just live our lives according to our own desire. Does it mean we have no need for commandments. If so how should we live our lives The question is then what is good and what is sin. So if God has written the law in our hearts then we have the ten commandments in our hearts by which commandments we should obey. But God wil forgive if we fail even if we dont ask for forgiveness Is this correct.
@ZeusHelios The 10 commandments were never given for man to keep but only show us our fallen sin nature in our need for a savior Galatians 3:19 - It's the Grace of God that teaches us how to live not the carnal set of commandments (Timothy 2:11-14) In the garden God did not want Adam & Eve to know good and evil by eating the fruit but being led by the tree of LIFE! It's the Holy Spirit's job to lead us in our heart and not by our intellect of knowledge.
@ZeusHelios It was at the cross that the law was nailed canceling everything that was against so then faith came taking us out of the law mindset into believing the promises God has provided for us free from our works of obedience. It doesn't matter how much we fail since God knows we will thats why Jesus is our advocate and his blood has given us rights to come boldly before God knowing that all of our sins are forgiven to all who believe! (Hebrews 8:12)
@BigE7 Thank you for your comment. Its all starting to make more sense to me. I knew there had to be another answer to all this especially the one that was about an eternal torment. I knew a loving God would not create such a place. Now God is sounding more like the God I always believe him to be. Thank God.
@ZeusHelios Yes the gospel message is so simple by just believing it not doing 20 things to get God's acceptance of works and so many Christians not knowing their true identity is in Christ. ......I saw this quote awhile back and wanted to share: We have been trying to please a God who has already been satisfied, change the life that has already been transformed, fight an enemy that has already been defeated, run a race that has already been finished....stop struggling & enter into God's Rest!
@ZeusHelios Unfortunately there is an eternal torment that originally was just for the devil and his angels but because of Adam's fall in the garden the sins of mankind needed to be atoned with Jesus being the sacrifice for all of the sins of the world. But because of God giving man a freewill they can accept Jesus' sacrifice for their sins and live eternally with Him or they can reject it and because of their decision to do so they will suffer eternally in hell cont'd.....
@BigE7 God cannot make anyone do anything...as the Bible says today is the day of salvation...either they can accept it since grace is freely given or they can reject it - God is a loving God who does not want any of his creation going to an eternal hell - It's because of man's pride that he feels the need to not surrender his life to Christ and choose to live life his own way. God has given man 2 choices...choosing death or life. As Jesus said choose life.
@ZeusHelios What Jesus was doing was bringing the law to its pristine order since man made the law as a ways of doing it outwardly and on their level he was saying anything you inwardly think is a sin in that regard. To be under the works of law is a curse by we've been given God's grace so that we no longer live according to standards or works but because of Jesus he has fulfilled every requirement for man to be in right standing with God.
@ZeusHelios When we are in Christ God looks at us as if we've kept the law perfectly knowing that since our identity is in Jesus we have his nature and our old self was crucified at the cross. So in essence the law has no jurisdiction over a person that know that Jesus did it all for them instead of thinking they have to live the Christian life. It's the perfect ONE (Jesus) who lives through us as we abide in his love knowing that every claim has been met and we're forever justified in Christ!
How did you get saved? What were you told? Salvation is a free Gift! All you have to do is "BELIEVE" and "RECEIVE" Jesus. So we start out by believing, then Religion steps in and it changes the finished work of the Cross from believing to doing. No longer is it about what we believe, but what we do. And the only issue that still remains is this - "What do you believe"?
Jesus sacrifice was for everyone. God’s Grace reaches out to all who will receive this most intimate gesture of love given by the Father for our atonement so we can come as we are to Him in relationship and live life and have it more abundantly.
@BigE7 That sounds like the loving God I always believed him to be and not what I have heard from other religions. Thanks for sharing this video with us it makes more sense than the other stuff I've heard. Tell me where did you get this information from or which denomination are you in what religion is that you are in where can I find out more. Does that mean Satan has already been defeated and has no more power over us.
@ZeusHelios Thanks for the comment! I'm in a non-denominational church where the Gospel of God's grace is taught and what much of the church does not have revelation of but I believe is coming into a greater light now more than ever. I got all this information in the bible and from hearing great teachers such as Joseph Prince who really explains the bible in a light that so much of the church stays in the dark concerning New Covenant truths that have been fulfilled by Jesus for us to walk in.
@BigE7 Thanks for all your comments and information. I thought I was never gonna find the truth. This sounds like the truth to me and makes so much more sense.
@ZeusHelios I'm glad I cleared up a lot of misnomers that you and other Christians have struggled with for years. I was in the same place but so glad I was exposed to the Grace message that for so long has been kept under guard in the church. I would recommend you listen to Joseph Prince who is an awesome teacher of God's grace. It's like I became a Christian all over again and what it really meant to see God as He really is...The way he sees us is through His SON!
@ZeusHelios Religion is the biggest killer in Christianity today when the Body of Christ is void of understanding God's grace and love when all they here is how mad he is when all of his anger was exhumed on his Son at the cross. Jesus defeated satan and all the powers of darkness at the cross...its when we are deceived by his tactics that he puts a foothold in our mind and we are led to believe that he is more powerful than God.. but he is a defeated foe completely stripped of all power.
does this mean that as long as i love Christ and consider him my savior i could go out and sin all i want since he died for me already and everything?
@breakyournose When you really know how much God loves you and has already forgiven you of all sin you really would not want to have the mindset to sin since its Grace that teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldy lust - Titus 2:12 - When you know how much you're forgiven you'll fall out of love with sin and in love with Christ - Being under the law will always keep one sin conscious but under grace you'll be Christ conscious and know that if you do sin we have an advocate (Jesus) John 2:1
@BigE7 As long as a believer does not stay under law but under grace sin will not have any dominion over them - When we become Christians our sinful nature was cut out by Christ at the cross - there is no sin nature but there will be habits from sin with us being in the flesh that only through renewing your mind to your identity in Christ will loose its hold from you...We are a New Creation in Christ!
Thanks for the comment! Yes I made the clip after getting so much revelation of God's grace hearing Joseph Prince teachings that we're no longer under law and how it really opened my eyes when I see the difference Christ made on the cross so I thought I'd show the world what true Christianity was all about - I've actually only seen clips of Steve McVey but have not read his book yet...will have to do that -Thanks again!

What did Jesus mean when he said "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman TO lust
after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."
Matthew 5:28
Is that not saying we are guilty of our own sins when we do not keep the law.

True. I believe Christianity is the one true religion because:
- It is the most insulted religion
- The most lied about religion
- It has the biggest accurate holy book
- Jesus Christ is the only prophet that rose from the dead and is still living
- The Great Pyramid proves it (octaman[.]com/comments/onetruereligion[.]html)
- It is the most criticized and attacked religion
- Everything makes a whole lot more sense
- It hits the nail right on the head about man's sin nature.
- It gives answers.
