As a Canadian kid growing up in the 1960's in Ontario, we all knew Happy Hazard who worked with Cy Leonard on the Uncle Bobby Show. (broadcast from Toronto)
These two vids about Happy bring back some fond memories of growing up. I can almost hear Happy's voice and see his manorisms as I watch. Thanks for the memories Ventdog and Ventrioquist Central!
@sticky943 - Neither.... the material is very hard and brittle. Happy was dropped once and shattered. After that, Cy Leonard retired him.... but as you can see, he had been beautifully restored. This is one old dummy. Look to the internet for Ventriloquist Central, I believe there is a segment on him there.
Thanks for the detailed sharing! That is one AMAZING figure!! The only con I can see is the obvious slots above the eyebrows. If they could get rid of those, it would be perfect. Kids are merciless. I can hear them now "You have lines above your eyebrows!!"
shanyilynmanson how would you get one that does this? there are few of theese left in the world, several of them are in museums, and no one has able to made a copy becuase how much movent he has

Amazing Mechs ! Wouldn't have a clue how he's made so neat! Although most aren't necessary. - just a one time sight gag probably.
