  • As a Canadian kid growing up in the 1960's in Ontario, we all knew Happy Hazard who worked with Cy Leonard on the Uncle Bobby Show. (broadcast from Toronto)

These two vids about Happy bring back some fond memories of growing up. I can almost hear Happy's voice and see his manorisms as I watch. Thanks for the memories Ventdog and Ventrioquist Central!

  • Deweoop synthetic rubber or latex if I had to guess

  • @sticky943 - Neither.... the material is very hard and brittle. Happy was dropped once and shattered. After that, Cy Leonard retired him.... but as you can see, he had been beautifully restored. This is one old dummy. Look to the internet for Ventriloquist Central, I believe there is a segment on him there.

  • ......Badass

Andy Gross's collection videos, he showed his favorite and best McElroy figure: Minikin/Mimikin.

  • Thanks for the detailed sharing! That is one AMAZING figure!! The only con I can see is the obvious slots above the eyebrows. If they could get rid of those, it would be perfect. Kids are merciless. I can hear them now "You have lines above your eyebrows!!"
