When I see someone doing these stunts on public roads, where they risk death or permanent injury, I don't

even think about the skill involved in doing the stunt, I just think how they are willing to gamble with their

lives for a cheap thrill, remember nothing cool about being paralized or a life time of pain from being mangled

@federalwarhawk dude, 99% of the riders doing this stuff on the street have previous experience from either dirt or closed roads, and street bikes are their hobby, they're doing what they love, there is no greater experience then being good at something you really love, even if it means risking your life (which many people in sports do) the only people that disgrace the street bike culture are the ones who wear flip flops and t shirts doing wheelies on the highway at 100 mph+

I used to ride a little street bike, and I did a bunch of 'trick' like tricks on the thing because it was reasonably bullet proof. It's also good to be able to move around the vehicle for a variety of other reasons, such as dodging impacts. The no-hands manuevers were made for shooting on the move, and a lot of the old cavalry marksman styles work on the iron horse. Also nobody does the wall slide, useful if you go too fast and there's a barrier far side. Broke a muffler that way. :)
