  • impresionante!!!!!!!!!!!!

la música de la actualidad como el pop , la electrónica, el hip hop y el rap son un asco

    esto si es música

    que viva el rock!

    que viva smashing pumpkins!

  • billy corgan se ve todo un papasito en este video

  • besides this music, what was so great about the 90s?

  • @heffty5 Well considering my life pretty much revolves around music, that's a big thing to me. I hate today's music. Wish I was growing up through the 90's.

  • @z0mb13t4c0 totally agree

  • When most people think of the 90's, they think of rap and hip-hop. Whenever I think of the 90's, my mind always goes to the Smashing Pumpkins and how much they've influenced my life today. I wish I could say it to their faces, but thank you, Billy, James, D'arcy, and Jimmy.

  • @MuzicLyricVideoz I think SP, Nirvana, AIC, PJ. SG.Fugazi EHG Buzzoven Acid Bath Pantera Down 80s I think of Hardcore Punk Thrash Sonic Youth Dinsaur Jr. Now we have some killer bands none that are as popular as the majority I mentioned earlier, but they are just as good IMO.

  • He looks smashed lol

  • I was born 1982 and I may have missed bands like the beatles and the stones, but thanks god I grew up with bands like these! the 90ies were awesome!! When I see what kind of music kids have to grew up nowadays I'm not even sure if I wanna have some on my own ...

  • Great video

  • Fuck,his voice at 0:46 to 1:00 is amazing!

  • Awesome quality. Thank you.

  • I'll tear my eyes out! Haha I love how he sings that line, like he really means he's about to.

  • I can't even stress the nostalgia and depression everytime i see something from the 90's like this. God, everything was just killer back then. If i would've known how shitty the new millenium was gonna be, i would've lived every day in the 90's as if it were my last

  • Billy is a cute motherfucker with his hair.

  • 2:01 Minnie Mouse crowd surfing!!

  • why does sum 41 start playing at the end?????

  • best vid EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's as if he had random vocal spasms during singing... Strange....

  • back when music was cool

  • The Jerry Garcia looking faggot at the beginning, who talked over the intro, killed it for me. I hate you.

    FAIL

  • @powerspeedtechmovies Yeah, I know the bands are still around. I just mean that NEW GOOD music is very hard to find these days. All the bands that were/are great are from the90's, 80's, 70's and so on. All the new pop machines like Gaga and Justin Bieber are just ridiculous! Thank god many of these bands are stil alive! :D But what will happen when they are gone :-O I really hope the young people make great music for the future! :)

  • I bet this was back when they were friends...

  • @wonderwall135 he never did drugs, though. And he always was,and he is present, and he'll probably always be against drugs.

  • @Pyskaty92 That's untrue, he actually used to do a lot of acid back in the SD era.

  • @pluck101 Actually you're right,I checked that out and I was wrong,I was suggested by old members band-removance and usual explanation of that by calling them a junks. What an asshole:|

  • how I loved 90s shows... and moshing

  • I love smashing pumpkins! <3 Did anybody else notice how high he is?

  • If somebody could tell me where I could buy a shirt like that, I would be forever grateful. :)

  • probably the "greatest" band name ever...they had so much great material

  • wow he was just a regular stoner kid back then...

  • awesome...

  • Es Antonio

  • is billy bald or do he shave his hair off.

  • @jellyboy123 i think he shaves because he's bald...or white supremest? lol jk i love these guys!

  • @jellyboy123 He shaved it because he was losing his hair. Also because he was tired of making his hair look good..

  • God I miss the 90's!! Pumpkins is one of the greatest bands to walk this earth. They did the same to 90's music as Beatles and Rolling Stones did to the 60's. Other bands that shaped the 90's music are bands like Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam etc. Just

I say: Bring back good music!! :,)

  • superman t-shirt, so 90s! love it

  • Oh billy....

  • I love the crowd scenes...no goddam cell-phones, people are actually interacting.

I get pissed when some asshole is holding up his cellphone through an entire concert. This is technology that doesn't belong @ concerts.

  • yeah nice song

  • the 4 people that dislike the video had the worst day of their life xD

  • Corgan looks like the classic, innocent, rosy-cheeked, suburban white boy here. Who knew he'd be a haunted genius

  • @airwalkcrazy360 You just read my mind.

  • :')

  • "Pink ribbon scars that never forget..." Gives me chills, love SP!

  • Comment removed

  • Billy Corgan looks like he's 18 or 19 here even though he was in his 20s

  • @jis2cool he was actually 26, belive it or not

  • You don't see this anymore, real music. Just overproduced bullshit

  • I love Billy's superman shirt.

  • billy seemed so much happier back then.

  • @harshman121092 I noticed that too! So true

  • This is the shortest Ive seen James' hair lol

  • i love this song........... and the bass player shr iz the greatest.....

i've ever known...... we need a bass player like that

  • D'arcy is the hottest woman I've ever seem

  • Im kinda new to Smashing Pumpkins, ive only heard this and Disarm, and they are epic! Do they have many other songs that are similar style????

  • @VivaLaDiego each SP album is very different in style.. try to listen mayonaise which is from the same album of today and disarm!

  • @jacky90woa Cheers man :)

  • @VivaLaDiego About 200 of them. There are about 50 to 60 pre Gish songs, all of Gish, all of Siamese Dream, all of Mellon Collie, all of Pieces Iscariot and all of the B-sides to all of those. So about 200 or so.

  • @sirwexley Cheers man :)

  • @VivaLaDiego Listen to Machina I

  • Everytime I listen to Siamese Dream I wonder why and the hell would they go to that techno stuff they did later.

  • Metro in Chicago. :)

  • metro in melbourne?

  • is this at the metro in melbourne?

  • Great video... One of the great bands... Pumkins rock!

  • good fuckin band

  • billy looks like a kid here i like it

  • can't be at Metro in London right? that is the tiniest venue. Gotta be another METRO...anyone knows?

  • @florencepen

    Chicago

  • This song rules :D!

  • I've got this whole show on cd, I believe. It's titled metro 1993. Rocket was incredible at this one.

  • 1:20 "bbbuuerrrnn"

  • he said it was like his whole body was vibrating during this song cause he was overwhelmed by the feeling of the crowd feeling the song and the music.

  • hollly shit they played the song perfectlyy back in the day like identical. like they probably dint have to do anything to the record versionnn

  • that opening lick that billy plays, and finds itself throughout the song, is like crack it's so addictive. I haven't heard this song in 10 years or so, but found myself singing it in my head.

    the best is 2:34-250

  • 3 dislikes, what bunch of tools. these asshole are probably watching mtv right now.

  • oh my god, billy is a hottie!

  • @clauagl oh my hottie, billy is a god!

  • Corgan used to be able to sing this song decent (not amazing, but decent), now its like he over sings it or something. This version is great though.

  • Billy Corgan is Superman

  • I was born this year, how unfair......

  • i prefer him with hair :)

  • Modern mainstream music like Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga is just a fad, like Backstreet Boys, Vanilla Ice, New Kids on the Block etc were back when Smashing Pumpkins were out. There's no need to feel threatened by it, it's not like history will remember any of the bands mentioned in this post... Except for the Pumpkins.

Bands like Arcade Fire are the bands from the modern era people will look back on.

  • please don't compare pumpkins with lady gaga. Pumpkins=Music Lady Gaga= Image.

  • He sucks at singing live.

  • @typeanoise you suck at posting coments.

  • @typeanoise you suck in general

  • @typeanoise you fucking loser dont judge bill corgans singing

  • @Cordwellproduction Corgan can't sing dude, it's common knowledge. In a way it just makes them more awesome, but he's always terrible live no matter how awesome they sound.

  • @elysium735 i love the pumpkins

  • @Cordwellproduction Me 2 :)

  • @McCunk And all of this because the guy said Billy screwed up the lyrics. He DID.

It was a screw up even if he did it on purpose because "I'll tear my heart out" was one of my favorite lines in the song. He didn't deliver. Let people have their opinion.

Other than that, I thought the performance rocked.

  • @MIvarsson99 same hear. not the ONE line I prefer, but I do love it; but otherwise this performance is in my opinion the best one ever. some parts may be better in other lives, but this is perfect in itself... unlike BWBW, for which I have like 2 or even . fav live, because I like 2 renditions, or the beginning is better here, but the bridge just rocks there etc...

  • it's a the Metro in Chicago I guess cause the pumpkins are from their

  • And so... Lady Gaga watched a smashing pumpkins video and quit the music business, realizing she could never surpass Billy Corgans's talent...

  • man, the audience is goin' crazy!!! people just don't jam out like that at SP shows anymore....tragic. the pumpkins are still (and always will be) deserving of an audience like that!!!

  • @infinitesadnessbaby i noticed that myself! im not sure why but it seems over the years everyone resents Billy for some reason. i still cant figure out why! but the new stuff isnt as energetic as this and he seems to want to play his newer more mellower material for most of the sets so im thinking thats why they're not moshing and thrashing around. but i wish SP had the original lineup or at least Billy James & Jimmy i think that combo would really reinvigorate Billy's songwriting

  • @hashfromplan9 yes that'd be awesome!

and about his mellower songs, the sad fact is that he now plays old songs more softly, like this one! now Today is played almost acoustic, softly etc - nothing against acoustic, love it, but the greatest thing in this song musically is the shift from soft to heavy with the electric guitars!

  • @KalikaInLeather totally! remember when the new pumpkins were @ the fillmore and they played Crying Tree of Mercury and Heavy Metal Machine? im still not sure what was up with that. me and my then gf were a little confused, but i loved Gossamer but most ppl left the building i remember somewhere around the 20 minute mark. that song seemed 30+ minutes that nite. then there was that acoustic american gothic ep..also did u notice since Zwan he sings totally different than he did in SP?

  • ok, I think I am now obsessing over this song. I always knew I was born too late... the 70s and the 90s, those were the days :( !!

  • omg. billy with hair..

  • @McCunk oh fuck u you poor motha fucker. my familys loaded. your is probably empty

  • @McCunk FUCK YOU LITTLE NIGGER STAY OUT OF MY LIFE

  • great song!!

  • He didnt screw up anything. They're his songs. It's not like he is in a lame cover band.

  • at the second verse he sqrewed up he was suposed to say ill tear my heart out

  • I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • early 90s were the best time periods. i grew most of my teen years and i remembered the siamese dream album came out, i still got the original tape :D

  • loving the superslut shirt too

  • awesome. and i think i prefer billy with hair

  • y does he get really loud then soft again,?

  • its a burst of emotion.

  • @JIgSaw5581 Because he's Billy and he does that, lol

  • he looks like a friggin kid LOL

  • In my opinion, this is the definitive live version.

P.S. The Hair makes Billy look like Morten Harket from Aha.

  • @zincthi XD he totally does look like him! Awesome call lol

  • Scuse me i've a question: what's the song at the end of the video?

  • SP is just one band that will never die. It doesn't matter what time period they come from, they'll always be known as one of the most amazing bands of the world. No modern hiphop/rap bullshit will ever surpass the greatness of sp.

  • maybe no the most but it enter s in the amazing section

  • i am in band and we are playing the cover of disarm :-) maybe i will put here some video soon

    smashing pumpkins forever :-)

  • i love the smashing pumpkins, i'm in a band and we do a cover of today and bullet with butterfly wings.... this is some of the greatest music in the world and in my opinion is underrated

  • 1:09 is that a testy pop? and you can really hear the bass in this vid.

  • Wow. I never thought I'd be into the Smashing Pumpkins because I am a classic rock lover... but I can't help it! They are so fucking awesome! <3 This is some good fucking music right here.

  • @lovingrock4life the pumpkins are classic

  • wow, this is great

  • Comment removed

  • i love this song...and zero....smashing pumpkins are the best

  • great vid...haha my friends were all like...appalled when i told them i like smashing pumpkins...so i just played 'em out loud untill they all started liking 'em too haha...

  • I love it , you hate it , so what.... Dont bother commenting if you dont like it ffs....

  • I used to hate it at first, but it really accompanies the song. Imagine if someone like Anthony Green sung this.

    *shudder*

  • ewy imagine craig way he would ruin it but then again he ruins all songs

  • O thats what its called. the sp obsession cause like certain days like i just cant stop listening to sp man like its crazy cause theyr so good

  • This song is the greatest...

    song i've ever known...

  • it says superslut lol

  • Superman shirt!

    Nice one Billy

  • Same here lol, im 19 and have the sp obsession =/ ...

still better than lady gaga and 50 cent remix black tunez! that everyone else follows these days

  • im 14 and i have the obsession to, every time im in the car i put one of their cds in or i plug in my i-pod! i own every album, and single, every dvd! and i know how to play some of their songs on my gui-tar

  • dude im like 14 too and i luv this song as much as u do. i play it on my guitar, i play on guitar hero and i play it soooo loud on my laptop i hav neighbours complain about wot i play. But there is a bad side to this, i get bullied because of the music i listen 2 (Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam). They take my ipod throw i across the room and watch me as i pick up the glass from my ipod.i hope that doesnt happen 2 u. By the way im a girl

  • I was your age when this stuff came out. You have good taste in music. Don't worry about it because time heals teenage angst. Plus, you have really good taste in music and will probably end up being a really good guitarist one day. This stuff was the best and got me through my teens, altough that was over 10 years ago.

  • Huh...

What amazes me is why people MAKE FUN of fans of those bands...

    SP rules.

    (Cj, SUE THEIR ASSES!)

  • thats bad bad times just crack em in the nose

  • @jamieclarko fuckin nigger and pussy asss bitch music!! the 90's still rule the 00's!!! GRUNGE NOT DEAD!!!

  • ano but now its just not the same

  • one of the best performences of this song ive ever seen

  • hellz yeah dood!

he used to be able to hit the "daaaaayaaaaahhhhEEEEEEEyeaaahh" part so well XD

  • Whats the song at the end?

  • what song u talkin about???

  • Sum 41 - What We're All About

  • i kinda wished i was 17 in the 90s. then maybe my smashing pumpkins obsession would be more accepted.

  • i hear you /b/rother

  • I was. And yes, it was great to be an "acceptable" s.p. fan back in the 90s. Nowadays all you get is emo and stuff. I'll build you a time machine, brother.

  • send one to my house too - i missed out on their prime time

  • I'm 17 and I wish I was there too and being a girl makes it a little more weird for some odd reason.

  • why would being a girl at this show be weird? there were plenty of girls there... looks like it would have been a great show to be at, tho

  • Same here lol, im 19 and have the sp obsession =/ ...

still better than lady gaga and 50 cent remix black tunez! that everyone else follows

  • Smashing Pumpkins defined my adolescence...whenever I listen to them, I realize those days are over. But I don't regret anything - especially not picking a band like SP to follow. Hopefully my band will be one-tenth as great as they were.

  • the first time i bought a smashing pumpkins album in high school (greatest hits), MY BRAIN OPENED TO MUSIC. I listened to it for like 10 hours

  • and then in a few months you have at least ten discs of their music, haha.

  • good old smashing pumpkins...

  • today is the greatest

    song i've ever heard.

  • And thats coming from the guy who listens to fall out boy?

  • You do know that just because you don't like them, that doesn't make them the worst band ever. They have lots of fans and they're successful, so they're quite obviously doing something right.

  • i think it has actually been scientifically proven that fall out boy sucks and that anyone who listens to them is legally retarded.

  • i hae fall out boy more than anyone, but just face the fact that people are gonna like different music, if im not judged for my tastes, why should i ? im not saying your wrong, but who cares what others like, have pride in your bands, and enjoy.

  • what's the name of the song that played during the credits at the end?

  • it sounded what were all about from sum 41, maybe when kerry king had his solo in it? not sure though.

  • you were right. It's the intro. You made my day. Thanks.

  • yeah you bet

  • what was that last song?

  • Sounds pretty different when compared to the studio version.

  • niether can mark hoppus or tom DeLonge Faggot
