yes it has a mic next to the built in web cam located at the top of the screen bezel on the top right hand side,

it also has mic and headphone input jack for headsets or if really posh you can use a bluetooth heaset for wireless communication such as mobile phone bt headset should work too :)

my mom bought one for me and her.. she bought the white and she got me the black... the white one came with the white case and the black one came with the white case i dunno y urs came in white it should of came with a black one

about the case for the msi wind

i got both the white and the pink msi wind u100 just a few months back and the msi pink came with a black slip case and the white came with the zip case showwn here lol i would have prefered the black slip case on both of them as the white one is a good inch bigger each side plus the slip case can hold the power adapter and a few accesories

never the less the msi wind is a very good mininote book well worth the money, got vista dualbooted on both too :)

im gonna get this at crimbo and i looked on google and some one was able to run counterstrike 1.6 with steam perfectly this is amense its just a mini laptop its awsome getting mine in white (and if they do it i might get green)

No. Unless you get a bundled package with Microsoft Office then no. It probably won't have Microsoft Office. Even if it did it would only have a trial version.

imgetting one of these in white!!!!!! i dont care about cd's because there is this thingcalled an external dvd drive and then you can use that to watch movies and play games like microsoft flight simularor x!!!!!!(it actualy has enought power to play it!!!!!)

Speaking of those CDs; my GF bought a U100 from Wal Mart up in Canada and only got the drivers CD. She called up MSI and was told both the driver and XP recovery discs are blank media and that the user burns their own copies on to them. Is that true?

I think they meant to say was "instead of bitching about it, go get a black cd and burn your own".  Which you can do, but that's kind of rude of them not to want to replace your blank oem.....

well for this one u can overclock to 2 gigs speed! and u can also play some games, you can search games that are playable on these with google (MSI Wind Games) and its ultraportable.

A netbook is a laptop.

A netbook is a very small version of a latop, that uses a small, power efficient CPu such as the Intel Atom. They currently don't have discrete graphic cards, only integrated, and are meant for things like browsing the internet, listrening to music, doing text work etc..

They aren't laptops, because they are small, more power efficient, and can't do things like play games or power high power apps.

theyre all generally the same, 10.2 inch screen. 1.6 Atom n270 CPU, intel GMA 945 video chipset, and the main diference between them is the hard drive sizes, and battery sizes (3,or 6 cell)
