  • my dear freaind can u tell me how u can do this even if a hack saw is an opction ?? ide like to know really badly thanks lots

  • A massive improvement

  • Whats a chuff pipe?

  • Hi - a chuff pipe is a simple pipe that fits over the exhausts to deflect the steam and create the chuffing sound you hear in the second part of the video. It also deflects any oil and water downwards.

    Cheers Chris

  • I've got the message. Just tell me where to send the money. In the meantime, keep your hands off her "chuff pipes"; and remember her "smokebox" remains out of bounds, or I won't pay the other half.

  • nice job on the chuff-pipes

  • Thanks Benny and Columbine

Regarding Bertie - it depends on whether the smokebox comes off easily - the exhausts are the same I think. The tops have to be cut off so it is not a simple addition - unless you are experienced at these things.

  • Wow, works a treat, I wonder if its possible with my Bertie...
