I saw one of my best friends ride without a helmet. He got his skull crushed in in front of his family and kids even. His five year old daughter was screaming and crying while her dad was carried off in a body bag.He might be alive if he had worn a helmet. You want to repeat that scene?

@RebelsLittleRogue do you think the helmets they wear would reallly help all that much ? it might help if you got bucked off and hit you're head but if they kick you roll on you or w.e you said you're fucked either way a helmet isn't saving you. :)

@VaXsniping Your wrong there bud. The only time a helmet wont help is if it comes off. Ive been ridin for 6 years and those helmets are almost to the specs of NASCAR helmets. They can withstand a lot of abuse and believe me they make life a lot less miserable.

It makes no difference whether or not you wear a helmet. I personally don't wear one for two reasons. For one i don't feel comfortable with one on because of the extra weight and Two i feel like i can't see. It don't make me tougher to not wear one. I've never worn one and i never plan to but thats just me. Two of theses riders are good friends of mine that i grew up with and they'll tell ya the same thing. It's all personal prefference.

i have my first bull riding coming up in too weeks at the nashional high school rodeo in dubbo nsw, yeah i have to where a helmet because im under 18 but i would wear one anyway. im starting late, but as tory wilkonson said its not a matter of if u get hurt, just when and how bad, i no i will get hurt, but wearing a helmet too me, is just minimising serious injuryes and knock outs

i dont mind eaither way, its up to the rider, its a new age of bulls and riders..
