Mr. Adams had a famous sandwich named after him at the infamous Charlie's Grille in DT Mpls. He was one of the most famous radio personalities of the Twin Cities back in the 1940's.

This is an broadcasting gem for those of us who grew in the Twin Cities with WCCO's line-up of remarkable radio personalities. I had forgotten that Murrow and Adams had teamed-up for Person to Person. Veteran broadcasters like myself will appreciate Cedric's pitch perfect verbal and physical choreography in perfect tandem with New York based Ed. This sequence was probably rehearsed a number of times before the "On Air" sign flashed on but it sings with these two pros. Many thanks.

So glad to find this video. Cedric was a neighbor of ours and we enjoyed the broadcasts from his home when he would comment on the wildlife in the little pond behind his home.

I had never even heard of Cedric Adams, but these are very interesting clips, and I always enjoyed watching Person To Person when I was a child. Thank you for the clips.
