All the money she mad she gave to underprivileged woman in Africa and Mexico. The only other interviews she did set her up with housing and education. She plans on helping woman further. She refused to go interviews for ages because of the money. She didn't want any one cashing in and she didn't want money either.

@tigerpx wow, way to get pissed off at and blame a victim of a terrible crime. So what if she tells her story to us? It may be able to help people, and lots of people tell lots of stories, we don't condemn them for it. So what if she is content to make money from it? Everyone needs money, and frankly I'd be happy to give her some of mine so her life can be a bit happier and easier after her terrible ordeal. If you cannot feel empathy, at least use your brain.

She suffered of Stockholm Syndrome. That's for sure. She was a victom before. Now she's becoming really pathetic and annoying. She's making money on her own sad story. Journalists, editors etc etc are making money with her personal experience talking about her sad story. I findd this morally disgusting and pervert. This is pure corruption and a kind of banalization of evil. That's a way between Big Brother and a pervert psycho movie. There's nothing rational. Just emotional and pathetic.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but did he say it had been 2 weeks since her captivity?

According to her book; she was so thin that she hardly chould work and walk.

She certainly looks very well for someone close to starvation.

Something does not feel right to me; not to say she was not in captivity, however ,some of the stories she is telling do not parallel with reality.

@amyexner He did starve her constantly but towards the end of her time living underground she had been able to eat more and had grown physically strong. This was why she was able to make a run for it. She did have a number of opportunities to escape prior to this but she was so weak and frightened and brain washed that she felt she couldn't. She also promised herself that when she turned 18 she would go.

@amyexner Also, this was a year after she escaped. Not two weeks. Two weeks after she escaped she was still living in a treatment centre.

@rudyprotrudy08 No, you are wrong. She was in hospital for a long time after she had escaped. Do you really think she would look this healthy and be able to give an interview two weeks after being locked in a dungeon for 8 years?

@amyexner yes it was 2 weeks afterwards. First of all she is still thin, secondly the body can gain a lot of weight in 2 weeks and thirdly was she close to starvation AT TIMES not all the way throughout the 8 1/2 years.

Conspiracy theories will never cease to exist, but that doesn't make them any less ridiculous. To accuse of her or to insinuate it, is to abuse her a second time.
