Kikyo is a very tragic character no one can take that away form her, I think her charactder is simply when she does come back she wants to be like anyother person, have flaws, because in the end when she died she could not have a flaw, she had to be perfect for the jewl, so I think when she came back she wanted to have some new experances, Sad to say, the kiss that Inuyasha has with Kagome never happends in the manga, he only kisses Kikyo, but Kikyo was and will always be his first love.

@Siroe73 Its sad really to think that, but to me I don't hate or love Kikyo, nore do I like Kagome!!!!! To me Kags is just a smaller version of of Kikyo, plus I don't think Kags is as strong as Kikyo, if she was that strong she would have distoryed Naraku a long time ago, the diffence between Kags and Kik, is that Kikyo can be by herself, and can take care of herself as well, Kagome can not!!!, plus Inuyasha and Kik's have history yes, they are both strong and indepened unlike Kags.

@Hattaru yes, I think you're absolutely right! Kikyo have no need of Inuyasha, even if love him....she's by herself and fight against Naraku in solitude, Kagome is totally unable to protect herself! I really cried when I read the chapter of her death in the manga, months ago. I started watching the anime like 6-7 years ago and I was a Kikyo fan all this time and I feel so bad for her.
