I don't have you hair texture, but my friend whose about 4a/b tried my knot today and kinky curly custard and it brought out her hairs little curl with much definition.
Also, with the mixing you should add an essential oil of your choice and you'll find that it adds extra softness, along with removing some of the smell.

never use a metallic object for mixing cassia/henna because they can react!
