Seemed... dry. Very dry. Slightly rushed, but not bad. I personally like seeing people actually "play the part" to the T, just so they have an idea of what to branch out on. Try playing it just as he plays it first, then get creative, but dont get too busy.

the detail you put into the song is right but you re rushing the song. Set your kit up to what is comfortable to you..... not Carter. You seem tied up as an open handed drummer

your snare is too busy- it's usually just the "2 uh" and "4" with exception of the "2 e and uhs"... also, the downbeats are on the tempoblock, the ands on tight hi hat, and the "uh" of 4 on cowbell... i wrote out the whole groove, actually.

He was 100% in my book. 1st this is the best dave drumming video I have ever seen on youtube yet even though its just a intro and 2nd carter can play this 100 different ways when he plays live so no way is right on. I think sockcymbal kicked ass in this one and no one cant beat him. Not even saxman who plays the snare like hes in a dam drum line.
