Dededoi , It is profoundly shameful to be associated with the ignorance and unjusticest that were inflicted on the various Native American peoples throughout history. One of the worst factors of a long list of disgraceful actions, Is that I believe the Native Americans belief system and culture with all of its rich traditions were spiritually superior more enlightened and "Holy" than any one of those ODD Radical Puritans. Surely hippocracy, deception, cruelty was not the better choice.

The journey's been hard and painful, some of our own need to wake up and see that we need to join together in unity to make changes, some have settled for a lot less than we all deserve and become lazy and addicted to their life style and habits, we were lied to many times over for their benefit to have control over us. I'm from the States & Canada BC, we were divided by a border, separating my people many moons ago, my status is in Canada BC. My heritage is also on the States side as well, I have family on both sides. Where are you from Jesse? Yes, your carrying a heavy load, some days it just seems impossible, but you must remember what our elders went through before us and even before them and you will see the weight is lighter now, never give up & always believe in yourself...

diana,,my people are from the siksika Nation,,we live in canada-blood reserve to the state of montana..i was raised on both sides..as you were.yes our elders do go thru alot of hell ,hurt and pain ..and thats what drives me..

W'ay Jesse, The pleasure is mine, it makes my heart happy when ever I get to meet any of my people. We are losing our elders rapidly, and they take with them our heritage and the past history, we must preserve as much of this as possible for our future generations, or we will lose what is very vital for our teachings. Our young are the future, we are their mentors and need to help them understand our ways, also to respect their self, their elders, the Creator and Mother Earth...
