I just sold a Tiernay TT10 to a man that plans to use it in a golf cart. It looks like you used the generator to power the electric motor. If not, what kind of clutch did you use? I am working on a small boat, and a kart powered by the TT10's. I have a couple more of them for sale if anyone is interested.
It is not powering an electric motor, but rather the shaft via belts is conected to a hydrostatic transmission from a commercial lawn mower, then from there a final chain drive to the axle.
