Excellent clip. The graphics and detail are first rate. However, historically a few points. The Defiant was not the total failure that most warbird fans think. More enemy aircraft fell to Defiants at night than any other type, including the Mosquito. Defiants were much more effective than single seaters at night and much more manoeuvrable that a Beaufighter when getting the best quarter in a night interception, using the quartet of .303s to great effect from below, just as the Luftwaffe did wit

The original IL2 is 10 years old and still going strong with new mod's and planes being added all the time, so all the whiners who feel cheated need to calm down and have alittle patiance and you'll end up with a fantastic game that will last and last.

not sure what the intention was when they built the defiant. i suppose you could fly through a bomber formation and the turret gunner could have a good go but ariel wise thats about it. i wonder if the used them to straffe ground targets while flying in a banked circle like the spookys in vietnam with the miniguns.

Excellent Video oleg .. BUT what tactics are the Defiants using??? up and down? they should be banking left or right to give turret gunner full view! Please fix this! Looks like Defiants are just clay pigeons.

Кстати, давно хотел спросить, ( к сожалению на Сухом, многие вопросы тонут во флуде.) : С чем связано, что при выборе "красной" стороны, есть возможность брать "синие" самолеты? И к чему так много действий, при выборе команды? в старом иле достаточно было нажать на ВПП.(Очень удобно. ИМХО)

Hi Oleg, I think this is a question on everyones mind.

What are the specs of the computers you are using to create these videos, the films look sooo smooth and defined, I only dream of getting my fps above 30 over land and getting the game soo smooth over sea. I like the game but dont love it, it is full of bugs.

P.S. you might want to look at the land textures next to heathrow airport in london, i dont think its meant to be full of water

I feel cheated that I bought this game and with every one of these beautifully looking trailers where everything looks nice and smooth and the game seems to be playable, I feel more betrayed! I read the system specs before CoD came out and I bought a new PC because I expected that, like every other IL2 game, that CoD was DONE on release, but what I got is a buggy, nearly unplayable beta version that will at least take another year or more to be ready! Did Ubisoft push them to release it early?

I'm one of the few that owned the game in North America back in march I have done all 20 missions , been online 2 or 3 times The planes bobble up and down too much to really line up a shot on anything "IF" theres more then 1 player online I feel like im flying a xbox game

Ролик хороший - видно, что автор старался, чтобы в кадр не попали никакие глюки, чтобы запечатлено оказалось только лучшее - только сильные стороны игры. Если бы это видео вышло до релиза игры, это могло бы стать неплохой рекламой. А вот какой смысл в том, чтобы выкладывать это сейчас, я не понимаю...

I Installet it and after like 30 min i had this face on.

standing on the ground with a Bf-110 because the fuelpumps did not open...

(And many other bugs)
