  • Hey do you still have this car?

  • It might be a Mercury 410 it's a 390 block and heads with a 428cj crank rated at 335hp,I'd use the after market chevy HEI style distributer It will run much better. the points are a pain !

  • @ruwithlee1970 It`s a 428 that someone put 390 high comp. heads onto. I`ve since had the block machined/rebuilt using a Keith Craft forged crank stroker kit w/H-beam rods and Diamond pistons.Pro-Gram crossbolt main caps were also added. It now is 462 cu.in.The 428 CJ heads that I have need alot of work done before they can be used so I`ll probably go with aftermarket.

  • do you still have this car? I would like to buy some parts off of it from you. Please get back to me.

  • Yes I still have it. My Dad and I started the restoration. We took off -Everything but the doors and trunk lid and pressure washed all the crud and undercoating off.I went over the spot welds with a mig welder, replaced the front floors and epoxy primered the bottom and engine compartment black.

  • I pulled the motor and it is a 428. Crank is IU ,428 in freeze plug hole,66 427 on back of block.
