Many times Ron Paul is the only "Nay" vote on the floor of congress because he will not sacrifice his principles. I admire Obama and hope he wins against McCain, but for us that support Ron Paul, we have learned that no matter what the outcome is, we cannot sacrifice our principles. If Obama would just bring all our troops home around the world he would probably get 75% of the Ron Paul revolution's vote.
now if he only supported a non-interventionist policy he would get my vote. Until then, Chuck Baldwin (Constitution party) will get mine due to Ron Paul's endorsement.
I'm a young adult, but this video highlights yet a few more reasons why I am supporting Obama. Regardless of age or sex, Obama has been fighting for human rights. His principals and ideals are the same now as they were before he started running for president and even before he became a senator. Obama has been fighting on behalf of other citizens all his professional life, and that is one reason why I have faith in Obama.
Watching this made me cry and think of how much my deceased father would have LOVED Barack. There is no other way!!!! Please tell everyone to make sure they are registered to vote and vote for change!!!!
Senator Obama, unfortunately I am not eligible to vote in the US. But I am prayong for you everyday. I know that this task is hard for you but I believe that God will see you through. You are an inspiration to everyone, young and old and God will not let you down.
The irony in this election is incredible. McCain is a veteran but Obama is the better choice for veterans. McCain is a senior citizen but Obama is better for senior citizens.
its nice to hear someone think of someone other than themself! we need each other and we need to take care of each other -- then we can be a great nation again.
Every senior should watch that AARP forum in which both major-party candidates participated because all the older people there left in support of Senator Obama.
He's on the right side of every issue about which seniors care.
My 83-year old Polish-American grandmother (who lived across the street) died last summer. I've been thinking about her more and more as the election draws nearer .... I can hear her now, admitting that "72 is not a good age to be president", and I KNOW she would have supported Obama whole-heartedly. Her great-grandsons' future depends on it.
I am 57 years old, and this will be the first Democrat president I have ever voted for. Just read the facts. If people know the truth, and how the repubicans have corrupted Washington, they will vote for Obama! Smart folk will vote for Obama!!
Not to put too fine the point on it, but Barack Obama was born on August 4th, 1961. He's 47. Now I was born just a few months before him and, for me, the coolest thing about this election is - He's my age! :-D
I know it seems silly, but it says a lot about my generation. It says that it is time for us to step up and take charge of our own future instead of leaving it in the hands of the "grown ups." It says we ARE the grown ups.
Our country and the world will be so much better with Barack Obama and Joe Biden in the White House--may this come to pass on Nov. 4.

In May 2006 McCain voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities.
Does he really care about Veterns??
I don't think so.
