Kenny Rogers discovered Don Henley in Texas and produced his band Shiloh in Los Angeles where he introduced him to Glenn Frey. Kenny owned their publishing and gave it back free and clear so they could become The Eagles. Later, Kenny recorded Desperado on his Daytime Friends album.
Epic fail! Train wreck!

'Desperado' is originally a song by the Eagles. It is one of my favorite Eagles songs and I was surprised when I heard the cover version from Kenny.
Moreover I was surprised when I heard the duet song 'Calling Me' (Water & Bridges album) with Don Henley who is a band mate of The Eagles.
