@zuru0 The events of the Changeling episode were filler-- not in the manga. Thus the unique intro. Whatever happened wasn't really canon, so they just dropped it and decided not to reference it again. Lots of popular anime do this sort of thing-- it's just that most anime aren't as blatantly "fuck this!" as the writers of Fairy Tail seem to be.

Personally, I kind of like the implied shameless disdain for filler episodes displayed there.
