@SUCIDALdepression aisa hai mere bhai/behen, i am as indian as any one of you. this is a modelling/beauty contest, not a parade of national costumes. i have worked in the international fashion industry enough to know that arms are to be kept next to the body or at the most on the hip. even though that is not a problem, she may do as she pleases but it felt odd, hence the comment. and you should refrain from questioning comments about the comments of others.

As far as walking the runaway goes, there is no hard and fast rule about how to position your hands. It mostly depends on what the designer wants. Maybe this designer had asked her to position her hands this way.
