I have the same mixer than you, urei 1601, and its knob is very small.

What knob do you use?

I'm guessing the sampler isn't postfader :(

I went to the site and it doesn't look like it. If it was postfader, you'd be able to cut the samples and record them using a regular turntable

that's right mate, but both mixer has PRO X Crossfaders coz I changed them. I didn't like the original crosses at all..

Yea I had the 1200S for about a week with original fader... and it was leaking and bleeding like a motherfucker. I took the mixer back and got the Rane ttm57sl instead... altho had to take a loan out for it haha. Never looked back. magnetic faders all the way! peace
