Not true, watching high level game play can and will help, however Day(9)'s intensive in game analysis is a much better/ quicker way of becoming a better player. HD and Husky are fun to watch and often I see a strat that I'd love to toy with.

@xLingyy Well that's not true, I gradually learnt the game of starcraft from those guys. I didn't know anything about the actual game (not how you play it) itself. I learnt what harrassment was, suppy/food, unit/building names and uses etc. So i learnt something from them.

I really really really really think if you are just starting out, going for carriers/bc's/ broodlords and corruptors is a very good idea because even if your a noob its very easy to win with those units and they really cant be countered
