true, it does have some bad aspects, but the worst part is you can't play deathmatch. its fun watching how planes crash and even better jumping off when u crash.4/5

This game has some battlefield type elements. BUT NO IT IS NOT A BATTLEFIELD GAME.

It's based on "Enemy Territory" gameplay with the quake style.

This game really is unique if you examine several of its aspects and motives. Unfortunately there isn't much good footage of the game.

I do think Battlefield 2142 rocks and own the game but since my CPU is to old(I have an NVDia 5200 and can barely run BF2) I don't play that much. thats sad...

Too bad the actual game isn't like this video.

There are no night maps. The max amount of tormentors (strogg flyers) there can be is 2, not 3. When you get revived, your chest doesn't stick up. No alarms go off like at the start. Ever. The voice chat is more radio-like (crackly). Soldiers don't change their faces. The strogg spikes don't look like that - and they swipe, not stab.

But nevertheless, the game is fun :)

EA fucked it up with BF2142, lets just say i doubt Quake Wars is going to come with spyware on your computer. And BF2142 isnt that good, the mechs are like playing mechwarrior...if your mech has been binge drinking before hand

i've been playing bf2 since the demo and i'm still doing it.... but ET:QW is better then bf2142.. and with the bf2 1.4 patch... there is no more fun...
