Very fine rendition - in a "continental" dancebands-style; not without very charming (not to say "stylish") parts: especially the slightly "swingy" sax-section in the straight-chorus (after the vocal)!
But: the last photo here - is misleading!!! It's no way in relation to the old "original" dancehall "Delphi", which was opened 1928 as real luxury place. This last photo here: shows only the after-WWII-cinema (same name!) - poorly rebuilded (with melancholy of post-worldwar-years in the photo).
@HateMyClass no, no translate, i meant writing the german lyrics so we can use them in german or get them translate... could you that for me?? pleaseee...

This looks like Yiddish and if it is it would be translated " I am so into you" as in "I am so obsessed with you."
I hope these guys got out of France before the Nazis came in. They are rather good at what they do.
All of the music of that era sounds roughly the same regardless of where it is from. It is the lyrics and the singing that tells you where they are from and not always that!
When I heared it the first time I had to rehear it a hundred times ( wrote the song o a piece of paper to sing it too ). Actually I love the "rolling" RRRRR . Great song Danke fuer diesen Song.

We have American Musicians in New Orleans, Louisiana who played much the same who had never even been to Europe. They called it Dixieland jazz.
And there was music of this type which used to accompany animated American cartoons back in the 1930s and 1940s.
It was just EXCELLENT music heard ALL over the world! I still love to hear it.The 1920s were great times.
