I've heard from a few more people who have purchased the abbyshot BR coat...the consensus is "PUMPKIN COLORED"...none of those that have contacted me are happy with the color.

Note that in the film, the coat was wet in virtually every shot. This makes a huge difference in its appearance.

I also have a "version one" trench from Abbyshot, and BECAUSE of its more conservative cut and awesome (but "innaccurate") water proofing, it's a coat I wear regularly in bad weather and get many compliments on.

I really admire FunkSimile's coat very much as a display/wearable piece. It looks great. But for practicality, I enjoy Abbyshot's products.

Hi guy in the video, I think you would make a pretty cool hero in an action movie, you got the looks and the moves buddy ;)

The only thing that lets you down here is the lack of suspense music and the cheap sound effects of the gun.

Bar that yeh prety good!

i think they should make more blade runner clothes shirts ties stuff like that does any body ever wear the trench out side in public

Well as someone who owns MANY Funk Simile pieces I can tell you the their quality,service and eye for detail are beyond impeccable...IMHO Abbeyshot has not yet gotten the BR Trench Collar correct nor the over-all color of the coat.There's a HUGE difference between individually Hand-made per customer and "Off-the-rack".

Don't get me started on Coyle Blaster's either...Sid-Kit makes a much more accurate, quality,less expensive BR Blaster and it's all metal, not cheap flimsy over-priced plastic.

Please post a video response of your own coat if you like - we are on YouTube after all. We based our Deckard coat off the actual prop worn in the film, down to the lighter than expected colour. The REASON for this is obvious - lighting. A chocolate brown coat in a barely lit night scene will look, well, black. The collar is a matter of opinion, please see our Deckard Trench Product Page for many glowing customer reviews from people who have actually SEEN our coat in person.

That sound effect comes directly from the ACTUAL replica blaster used in the video. For a sound effect coming out of a working replica gun - we thought it was kinda cool :)

SURE, we could have digitally messed with it - but we figured we'd give you a sample of how that replica really works. And work it does - great job by RAC Props.

I can safely say that their quality of workmanship and materials used are impeccable.

I would feel a little odd calling that the ULTIMATE BR COSTUME.

If you ask me, the BR Trench by Funk Simile is much better quality,MUCH better collar and is made by hand for each customer, NOT off the rack as the AbbeyShot is.
