Do you know who said on his DVD that he wrestled in many rings, but he liked TNA's six-sided the most because the ropes were much tighter so therefore you could get a much higher or longer jump? I think TNA needs to limit Russo on the booking/writing team. His style of long promos and short matches worked in 98 but it doesn't fly by today's standards given the fans are way smarter now.
TNA needs to play on their people's strenght. for example They got it right with Hernandez, limit his mic time but make him look like a powerhouse in the ring.
now booking wise, Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan to lead the young talent vs. Jeff Jarett and Mick Foley's veterans. at first the reunited Outsiders Hall, Nash & Syxx allign with Hulk. then at the end of the nite they beat him down and TNA's young talent come out for the save. Ric Flair will debut and start a retirement feud with STING.
at their competition, i wanna see Christian jump to raw and make a run for the World Title. he's not the strongest or fastest but the everyman wrestler who gets the job done. plus his charisma is like Chris Jericho's except he has his own style. and Bret Hart, he's been gone so long idk what exciting things can be done with him...

There could be some familiar faces on the live TNA iMPACT! on January 4th. Sean Waltman has been telling friends in Mexico that he is heading back to the company, and that Scott Hall is coming with him. With Kevin Nash winning the tag team title shot in the Feast or Fired match, an Outsiders/Wolfpack reunion could be on the way. You would likely have Hogan, Nash, Hall, Waltman, and possibly Bischoff. TNA obviously wouldn't be able to use the nWo name due to trademark issues with WWE.
I agree with ROHTNA1991, it is way to soon to move Impact to Monday's, first they need to give us fans some serious product, that will make interest, then move to Monday, but Impact need's to stay on Thursdays and on Mondays make new show- Monday nights war ore something like that.
I think that 6 sided ring is unique, and it should stay like that, but on the other hand 4 sided ring is standard ring from the beginning of wrestling business, so if they decide to bring it back it is also ok, but I don't think, that should be the reason for watching or not watching TNA. I think that we will have maybe not in the beginning, the real competition to WWE.
Also continue wrestling with those youngsters easly passing the torch to them so that they can make the name for themself. Seriously, I bet you are going to predict that 2010 will be another year closer to WWE closing their doors. And if that happened then that means we would be stuck with ONLY TNA and then we would all be back to square 1. Only one company.
TNA isn't really trying to "compete" with the WWE, the fact is, that this is a good business decision for the underdog. WWE is a giant and attracts many fans, if they even acknowledge TNA, that means TNA will catch the attention of casual wrestling fans and increase it's own fan base. I dont think "the models" in wwe are that bad. I actually loved Borne and Punk in the indys, or Tj Wilson (Tyson Kidd) and Harry Smith. I like Morrison and Kofi. The problem is not who they are pushing. Its that for years they have been pissing on good new talents heads, and all of a sudden they realised they need new superstars to survive and are pushing them all of a sudden way too fast in a non sensical way.
You know, I actually liked their first 4 sided ring, expecially the colours, gray canvas, and yellow and black ropes. Yellow ropes were cool. Its not that I dont think the 6 sided ring aint cool, It has worked well in mexico for years and years, but its not fitted for the USA, and it just makes things more complicated for the wrestlers in terms of creating a good match, and the 4 sided ring, well, why re-invent the wheel when theres nothing better than it.

Guys, there's one quick way to tell if Hogan will hurt the company. If we tune in on January 4 and see a four-sided ring, he will hurt the company. Do you know who said on his DVD that he wrestled in many rings, but he liked TNA's six-sided the most because the ropes were much tighter so therefore you could get a much higher or longer jump? Your current TNA World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles. The X-Division started with 4, but excelled with 6. You take away your identity, you're just WCW 2.0

I think TNA needs to limit Russo on the booking/writing team. His style of long promos and short matches worked in 98 but it doesn't fly by today's standards given the fans are way smarter now.
TNA needs to play on their people's strenght. for example They got it right with Hernandez, limit his mic time but make him look like a powerhouse in the ring.

now booking wise, Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan to lead the young talent vs. Jeff Jarett and Mick Foley's veterans. at first the reunited Outsiders Hall, Nash & Syxx allign with Hulk. then at the end of the nite they beat him down and TNA's young talent come out for the save. Ric Flair will debut and start a retirement feud with STING.

well TNA has been getting much better since they released the old booking team (except Russo aparently) since then we got AJ as champion who's having a really good title reign. Matt Morgan getting over like crazy. Desmond Wolfe doing his thing with Angle. Hernandez being built as TNA's power guy.
TNA still needs to work on its storylines but its doing a good job of getting people over. Now they need to elevate these guys since alot of the older TNA vets are clearly leaving soon.

There could be some familiar faces on the live TNA iMPACT! on January 4th. Sean Waltman has been telling friends in Mexico that he is heading back to the company, and that Scott Hall is coming with him. With Kevin Nash winning the tag team title shot in the Feast or Fired match, an Outsiders/Wolfpack reunion could be on the way. You would likely have Hogan, Nash, Hall, Waltman, and possibly Bischoff. TNA obviously wouldn't be able to use the nWo name due to trademark issues with WWE.

I think that 6 sided ring is unique, and it should stay like that, but on the other hand 4 sided ring is standard ring from the beginning of wrestling business, so if they decide to bring it back it is also ok, but I don't think, that should be the reason for watching or not watching TNA. I think that we will have maybe not in the beginning, the real competition to WWE.

Give them space in main events.
Also continue wrestling with those youngsters easly passing the torch to them so that they can make the name for themself. I am not the fan of WWE or TNA at this point, but I am the fan of Hulk Hogan and what he can do. And I know that he can help TNA and boys just like Andre the Giant once helped him to make the name for himself.

i actually don't care about the ratings. if TNA gets higher ratings then good for them, it means they got more exposure.
i care more about the quality of the show. TNA, their competition's or all wrestling fans can lose out if we get a crap product.
so far Sting, Jeff Jarett, Hulk Hogan are CONFIRMED for Impact. Ric Flair, RVD rumored. so far, Bret and Rock are only rumored to be on the other brand.

TNA isn't really trying to "compete" with the WWE, the fact is, that this is a good business decision for the underdog. WWE is a giant and attracts many fans, if they even acknowledge TNA, that means TNA will catch the attention of casual wrestling fans and increase it's own fan base. TNA will obviously lose on jan 4 if your going to compare ratings, but TNA will get a huge surge of exposure if they irk WWE into a confrontation

Bret Hart had stroke few years ago. He was the great talent in 90-es, now I think it is to risky for him to wrestle due to his health.Now due to ratings Bret Hart at his prime never draw ratings like Hogan, never put more people in the sits like Hogan so I think now he is no mach for Hogan.Truth is he never was. TNA is getting better and better, BUT

I dont think "the models" in wwe are that bad. I actually loved Borne and Punk in the indys, or Tj Wilson (Tyson Kidd) and Harry Smith. I like Morrison and Kofi. The problem is not who they are pushing. Its that for years they have been pissing on good new talents heads, and all of a sudden they realised they need new superstars to survive and are pushing them all of a sudden way too fast in a non sensical way.

You know, I actually liked their first 4 sided ring, expecially the colours, gray canvas, and yellow and black ropes. Yellow ropes were cool. Its not that I dont think the 6 sided ring aint cool, It has worked well in mexico for years and years, but its not fitted for the USA, and it just makes things more complicated for the wrestlers in terms of creating a good match, and the 4 sided ring, well, why re-invent the wheel when theres nothing better than it.

Ok first idk about that oneman guy but i despite cena and love legends,but they r all wwe rejects at tna this is kool but wwe is gonna win and i hope they do! they hve more money more superstars and bigger stages.a lot of generations and the most important to me....history...

WCW was a FAILURE people and it drives me mad how people remember this company that was run by amatuers.
If you compare WCW to a sports team competing in a season, they might have a good result in the middle of the season but in the end they finish bottom, that is WCW.
They made money for 5 minutes and lost money the rest of the time
