All actors and actresses have their own styles and talents. Curt definitely has great voice control, especially in the Next To Normal tour. He knows when to restrain and when to belt it out. Most of the time, he is moving up and down stairs when he's singing in the play. I would be out of breath by the first stair climb in N2N. Damn, I got to get back into shape.

For those who don't know, this production is by Hartford Union High School in Hartford WI.
17 year old Curt Hansen played the role of Jean Valjean while 16yo Christian Luthi played Marius.
Curt is now performing on Broadway in "Hairspray."

i have played jean valjean numerous times on professional stages such as the fox theatre in atlanta and i must say that this is one of the greatest performances of this song i have have seen in a while and to be done by a minor is outstanding -this kids got something-

The role of Marius was played by Christian Luthi, he was only 16 at the time, I believe. That's me playing the piano. :)

Nice voice but I felt like you were trying to sound older when it should have just been sung. Or the beard muffled the mic alittle to make it sound like that.
