Is it weird I liked Naraku just as much as I liked Kikyo? It's strange because I never really liked her all that much until I watched the Final Act, but even Naraku himself was misunderstood. In the end Onigumo's desire to have Kikyo came out in himself. I can't honestly find any of the characters to not like now.

Kikyo who is the most suffering character in the anime. I cried for her death right at the time she kissed Inu and died. This anime, Inuyasha, will live forever in my heart. I will never forget about this anime.

am i the only one who didnt like kagome and inuyasha? kagura, sesshomaru and kikyo were by far the most likeable characters in this anime, atleast kagura and kikyos wishes became true =´/

@666Kanackenstolz666 ...not really xD Kagura I suppose but Kikyo? Not at all, in the end, even though she says she's become an ordinary woman, she didn't really. She still had a body made of graveyard soil, the Sacred Jewel still existed in the world (whose protector is supposed to be her), Naraku was still alive, the man (Inuyasha) she loved had pretty much already fallen in love with someone else and, oh yeah...she died. Kikyo might have been at peace, but she didn't get a happy ending :(

however, we were talking about whether she got a happy ending or not and i was saying, no she didn't really. she died at peace, but not happy.

This episode and the melody is so heartbreaking. I once hated Kikyou, but gradually, I began to love her as much as I did the other characters. If I were to put myself in her situation. . to witness betrayal, even though the accused was innocent, and to go to the grave feeling broken hearted and bitter. To be resurrected, only to feel the pain once more and be betrayed again, and yet to die again. She was beautiful, strong and smart . . I pity the life she was destined to live.

thanks for the video, like you im also an avid fan of inuyasha, too bad the final act episodes are not yet dub in english. like them i feel bad and sorry for kikyo, the music, the video, and the way it ends, makes me really sad.

and that's why I hated this anime's endng. The ending should have been Inuyasha got together with Kikyo. Kagome gets back to her time, then finds Inuyasha's Incarnation. It makes sense.
